About this venue

Located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, The Art Room is a 4,000 square foot, modern industrial event space. Its rustic yet refined feel makes this space the perfect venue for your special occasion. The Art Room was born in Fall 2019 on the concept of creating an event space with the juxtaposition of industrial and fine arts. After seeing the rustic space, we started renovations right away. Given the timing of opening our space, we, like many others, were halted due to COVD-19. Beginning in the Spring of 2021 we were able to resume hosting events and honing in on the original concept of a versatile event venue partnered with a fine arts gallery.

The Art Room

Rustic Yet Refined.

As you first walk in, you will be taken by our gorgeous tin ceiling, large picture windows and functional garage doors! There is plenty of natural light within our two connecting bays, accented with brick walls, hardwood floors and iron railings. As you move throughout, you will see two lofts, located on either side of the main floor, perfect for your DJ or additional seating. The lower level features marble clad facilities and additional event space waiting to be filled with your guests!

    We absolutely love catering events at The Art Room! Kirsten and her team are wonderful to work with, so friendly, and so well organized that I never have to worry about anything falling through the cracks. The space is beautiful and super flexible for parties of different sizes and formality. Every event we've worked at The Art Room has been executed flawlessly, and with top notch professionalism. The Art Room is a MUST when considering an event venue.
