This eclectic space invites relaxation and soothes the senses. We offer complete catering through our preferred vendors or you can keep it simple with appetizers. If you need tables and chairs, we can arrange delivery and accommodate up to 45 people for catered dining. Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920’s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920’s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

The historic house sits on 4.74 acres of manicured gardens, designed by noted landscape architect Ralph D. Cornell in the 1930s. The adobe home itself dates to 1844; built originally as a cattle ranching headquarters, turned sheep ranch, and finally family estate before becoming a museum and historic site in the 1950s. In addition, the site is recognized as a local, state, and national historic landmark. Today, the gardens remain sensitive to Cornell’s landscape design, and many of the existing garden features have been maintained. We have a variety of outdoor spaces for your wedding festivities; all are included in our pricing as a whole site rental.
