Nestled in a beautiful residential neighborhood of Los Angeles, Occidental boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that for over 100 years have served as a backdrop to weddings, birthday parties, reunions, company dinners, and many other celebrations. We offer an all-inclusive catering service and a selection of delectable dishes prepared by Oxy's own nationally ranked chefs. Occidental's striking architecture, cream-colored archways, the roses, the trees and beautiful fountains create a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

No. Those who use campus facilities must use the services, food & beverages of Occidental College. All of our catering options include, tablecloths, servingware and staffing. We offer both Served or Buffet Service options as well as a unique assortment of hors d'oeuvres to compliment your cocktail hour in style and elegance.
We offer full bar service (includes 4 hours of open bar). Choose from House, Premium and Super Premium options. We can customize your selections to suit your specific needs. For detailed information request a personalized quote.

The ceremony rental fee includes 1 hour guest arrival/ceremony time, 1 hour of set up, and 1 hour rehearsal. Reception rental includes 4 hours from start to finish (a free additional hour is added when alcohol is provided) including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $500 per hour.
Our building is located 24 miles away from Los Angeles International Airport, LAX. You can reach our venue by public transportation via the subway or train, or by private car or taxi.
Yes, you will need to purchase event insurance and we can take care of that on your behalf. Usually costs $103 - $134.
