Oversized windows bring natural light to the main gallery rooms, which boast 24-foot ceilings, wonderful woodwork, and exposed granite walls lined with rotating art exhibits. Your ceremony can be held in the sweet, private courtyard. This quaint, romantic space has a “secret garden” feel, sheltered from the street by high, vine-covered red brick walls. The Anchorage, with origins back to 1800, is a Federal Telescopic Tidewater style B&B with waterfront views and three guest rooms available to the wedding party situated on the beautiful Choptank River. We offer a relaxed, peaceful and romantic experience on the shores of the river, which is part of the Chesapeake Bay waterway. The venue is nestled on 12 acres of waterfront property with forest on either side and protected wetlands.
