I have been in the event industry since 2015, I started out as an intern with a wedding planning company, then I was a wedding sales coordinator at The Davenport, followed by working at a 5 star wedding venue in Houston, TX where I coordinated 3-5 weddings a weekend. I moved back to my hometown of Coeur D’Alene, ID in 2020 and I opened my wedding planning business. It’s most important to me that you have an event to remember. Hello! I attended Eastern Washington University and received a bachelors degree in communications with an emphasis in business management and a leadership certificate. I then pursued certificates in wedding & event planning, event décor and corporate events. I have been in this industry since 2014. In that time, I have been a coordinator for one venue and managed two others. I am very well versed in the world of weddings, holiday parties, and large corporate events. Michelle has worked in catering and event management for many years prior to becoming a wedding planner. She worked at various wedding venues all across Southwestern Montana. It was during this time that she developed her vision and ideas about weddings, venues, floral design, catering, entertainment, bar menus, wedding cakes, reception design and everything else involved with event planning. Michelle is a Certified Wedding Planner (CWP) through the Association of Bridal Consultants and has also helped plan and coordinate large events. She has also worked in the catering and personal chef industry for a number of years.

I have been coordinating events for 5+ years and fell in love with the methodical creation that comes from planning each different event. Each event is different and has it's own challenges which makes the entire process that much more exciting.

Andrea, founder of Rare Bird Collective, began her career as a creative project manager in advertising and spent over 12 years working for some of the best hospitality groups in the country. She helped open several James Beard-nominated restaurants and worked for Relais & Châteaux properties. She has worked in every capacity of events from intimate birthday celebrations to large high-profile weddings, VIP and backstage parties for internationally touring musicians to the Nobel Peace Prize Forum, and everything in between.

I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings, and in 2024, I coordinated and planned 17 weddings. I'm halfway booked up for 2025!
