“Working with Angie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. My husband, mom, and I often talked about how incredible she was and how we couldn’t believe we thought we could plan the wedding without her! We started planning on our own for the first year and then brought Angie on for the final three months—it was completely worth the investment (in hindsight, I wish we had hired her sooner). Angie is beyond generous with her time. Our weekly meetings, scheduled for an hour, often extended to two, and not once did she make us feel rushed. Her entire approach is so thoughtful—she took the time to really get to know us and our families, and she truly understood our vibe. Then, she took everything to the next level, suggesting creative touches we’d never have thought of, like turning our seating chart into a map of NYC with table names for different neighborhoods! One of the biggest reliefs was having Angie coordinate directly with all of our vendors. She worked with everyone—our venue (Tavern on the Green), rehearsal dinner and brunch venues, hotel, hair and makeup teams, band, photographer, and baker—meaning we didn’t have to manage any of that ourselves. She even managed our payment schedule, which was such a huge help. Angie was always full of great ideas, and she didn’t just come up with them—she would go ahead and make them happen! From printing all of our signage to supplying candles, photo frames, and even ring boxes, she has everything you need. Her calm, empathetic nature and fantastic listening skills made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. “MY BACKGROUND: I am not organized nor am I detail-oriented. I am more of a helpful bridesmaid than a wedding planner. Planning this wedding stressed me out as I was working full time, a full time student and was 30 weeks pregnant on the day of my wedding. My venue also did not provide a bridal attendant as event manager was the coordinator on the day of the wedding. A wedding coordinator wasn’t in our initial budget by all means. With that said, SARAH IS A GIFT FROM HEAVEN. She is organized, calm, confident, enthusiastic, responsive, knowledgeable, resourceful, and very-much detail-oriented. What I needed the most, I received: - Stayed in communication between vendors throughout the entire process - Post- wedding clean up and organization - Assisted in setting-up at the location, the night before the wedding - Always kept the budget in mind - Provided realistic expectations of how the event will be executed - Solved problems when we hit barriers - During meetings with vendors, she asked appropriate questions that my husband and I didn’t think of - Has the ability to multitask - Provided checklists and kept us up to date with our vendors - Communicated with my bridal party before and day of the wedding - With the help of her assistant, managed the timeline and oversee the vendors, wedding party, and family members on the day of the wedding - Became a bridal and groom attendant if we needed anything - The zipper of my wedding dress broke on the day of the wedding. With the help of her, a bridesmaid and my photographer, they overcame this really big challenge. Like I said, we initially did not think of a wedding coordinator. When my cousin got married, I saw how Sarah was overseeing my cousin's wedding. It was then, I knew I needed her. At the start of planning my wedding, my husband was ambivalent about having a wedding coordinator as it wasn’t within our initial budget. When the wedding finished, he was so impressed and really grateful to have her throughout the whole process. We could not have pictured working with a better person and I was really able to enjoy my wedding day without stressing. “We could not have pulled off our wedding without Laurie and Lina!! Their expertise and guidance from the very beginning made the planning process go so much smoother. We made things more difficult for ourselves by "breaking the script" (hiring a DIY venue and 2 food trucks to supply the dinner) but Laurie and Lina helped us navigate it all. They were the perfect buffers when it came to unresponsive or uncooperative vendors. On the day of the wedding, we got SO many compliments about how nice our planners are and how beautiful everything was. Towards the end of the planning process we were messaging Laurie almost every day and she always had the best attitude and sense of humor! “Hiring Dhalia Events was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. I am skeptical of the wedding industry in general, but I am convinced that wedding coordinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience? Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of: 1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand. 2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick. 3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out. 4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine. 5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert). 6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception. 7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside. 8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes. 9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later. All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED. I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person. Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.”

“I first heard about Abibi Bridal when I was assisting my best friend CakedbyMel assemble a wedding cake in New Hampshire in September 2023. Mind you, I was visiting my best friend in Boston for the weekend because it was her birthday. I live in New York, so I took a flight to Boston to spend time with her. My friend was hired to construct the wedding cake by Abibi Bridal because Abibi Bridal was booked as the wedding planner for the wedding. I was observing how Abbe was working with the vendors and the wedding party, and I was instantly impressed. I set up my consultation with Abbe and I booked her for her wedding coordination services immediately. I just knew Abbe and her team would execute.
