On the big day, they were on-site ensuring things ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and enjoy our special moments. Their personal touches, from the gorgeous floral arrangements to helping bustle my dress, made us feel cared for. With its picture-perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception along with the owners' constant support, Farm 1750 was the perfect intimate venue for our wedding. We have 4,500 square feet of indoor space; this includes our cozy tasting room and adjacent event space. The event space also gives you access to the cupola where you’ll have a 360-degree view of the estate winery. It’s quite spectacular! We also have nearly 3,000 square feet of covered, wrap-around porch. It too, is an equally great space and overlooks various fields. You’ll often see our Grape Vine Patrol Squad (rescue dogs) out walking in the fields. We have eleven in all, and their job is to patrol the vineyards and keep out prey. They’re all friendly, enjoy meeting new people and being petted. In addition, feel free to inquire about using acreage surrounding the tasting and production facility for your private event. The Estate at Whitehall is a beautiful venue! Bethany and Joel were amazing the whole time and answered all the questions we had. They also have amazing discounts on their wine for life, a great perk if you are a local couple! We loved getting married at the Estate at Whitehall and would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I had to push off our wedding celebration due to covid so we ended up having to plan our wedding celebration multiple times and switch dates. Allie Hobbs the event coordinator at The Tides was extremely accommodating and helped us have the most AMAZING event we could have imagined! We had friends and family come from all over the country and everyone had such a wonderful weekend. The staff, the food, accommodations, weather and views could not have been better! Highly recommend this venue!

Above ALX Community was the PERFECT wedding venue! The indoor/outdoor rooftop space offered breathtaking 360 views of the Potomac and Old Town Alexandria, creating a beautiful and unique setting. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the amazing atmosphere and scenic backdrop. Christopher, our venue coordinator, was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, from setup to last-minute adjustments, and made us feel completely at ease. His attention to detail and dedication truly made our day stress-free and memorable. Elegance Estates was the perfect venue for our April wedding. We got married in a church and had the reception at Elegance Estates, and it was absolutely beautiful. I am a very minimalistic girl, so I did not provide the venue coordinator (Brittany—she’s amazing) with very much decor or direction and she still somehow made everything look perfect. Their catering team is awesome and the food was delicious. The set up provides lots of space for guests to move and mingle, and we had a blast dancing in the ballroom. Would highly recommend! They made wedding planning so easy.

I found The Garden ALX here on Zola and was completely satisfied with our experience. We had a kid-friendly Sunday afternoon reception and the venue fit the bill perfectly. They had multiple packages to choose from and an hourly rate as well. We had a four hour reception and they threw in two hours of free setup and an hour to take down and clear up. They also have yard games and other add ons you can include. Mary was great to work with and helped with any questions along the way. The only advice I would give is to reach out to them directly instead of through Zola for a faster response initially. Given the high price tag if venues in the DC area The Garden is a great option if your wedding is under 100 guests and you are looking to have a more casual reception.
