We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.

Plus they have an on site weather station for the most accurate weather read!

(Long review but worth it... trust me) Not sure if a wedding could ever be called "stress-free" but I'm tempted to say.... it basically was. I would never be able to say that if it weren't for everyone at Crabtree's: Kim, Leo, the Barbaras, everyone. Kim was there for us during the planning every step of the way. From the beginning, she was easy to reach and never more than an email away to answer my millions of questions. Furthermore, her expertise was extremely helpful in helping us to complete our vision. We were planning this wedding based off of the little we've seen at other weddings and a lot of Pinterest, but Kim has been doing this for years and knows exactly how to make a vision into a reality. Leo, our maitre'd was phenomenal as well. He was there every step of the day, making sure it went smoothly. He was even there to help our toddler flower girls get down the aisle when they were, well.... being toddlers lol. If we needed something, I'd turn around and he was there. Even when we didn't know we needed something, he took the initiative to make sure we were comfortable. Like when he realized we didn't get back to our dinner right away he brought them back to make sure it didn't get cold. Or when he realized we barely ate our dinner, he made sure we had some food to eat when everything was over. He is incredible thoughtful and amazing at what he does. We didn't need for anything because we had Leo by our side. The food.... Let's be real, a lot of wedding food/catering hall's food is... meh. Not at Crabtree's! If you read a little about them, you'll see that they take pride in their food. Unlike a lot of venues, where the food at the tasting is delicious but then the day of is lacking (in both taste and presentation), that was not the case. The food was JUST as delicious and well-presented as it was at the tasting. Our guests were very pleased with the food, even the biggest food snobs in attendance. I have friends still (we got married 7 months ago) telling me how they wish they could go back to our cocktail hour for some snacks! The space.... Not much to say other than GORGEOUS! Minimal decor is necessary because the outdoor and indoor space are beautiful as is. If you're fortunate to have good weather like we did, the garden is beautiful, especially with the changing leaves in autumn. So many guests have told me how this was one of the most beautiful weddings they've been too. The value... Weddings are rarely cheap, especially if you have a specific vision of that day. What I've learned is that if you're looking within a certain price range, and something is a little bit above, take a look at what they're offering in that price. See if there are ways to shave off a few dollars per person. Initially, we thought Crabtree's would be above our budget but when we looked at what they were offering and some of the options they offered to save some money, we were getting far more than other venues we had looked at. Do yourself a favor, take a visit to Crabtree's, sit down with Kim, and you'll see the value in what they are offering. We are not rich by any means but this was worth every one of our hard-earned pennies. Crabtree's and the people there will forever have a special place in our hearts. I cannot recommend them enough!

Tricia and Marty were the absolute best to work with! They were so responsive, helpful, flexible and helped us with what we envisioned our wedding day to look like! Their venue is absolutely stunning and it added to the complete vibe of our day. Tricia and Marty run such an organized schedule that even with our nerves we felt at ease for knowing exactly what was coming next! Alex and I have heard from our guests and they all have been raving about our wedding and said that it was one of the best they have attended. The food was delicious, the bonfire was a perfect touch and the s’mores with Reese’s cups were perfection! I’m so glad we found them and chose to have our wedding day there! The memories we have will last a lifetime and the way they made us feel will be remembered as well!

Full stop, you need to have your wedding at Bad Seed. Not only is it a stunning location with a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space (get married/take photos in a literal apple orchard, and party it up inside a modern-with-tons-of-charm taproom) but Devin and his team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. They answered our questions quickly, and were extremely flexible and helpful the week of our wedding. We were able to bring up boxes earlier in the week, set up the day before our wedding, and had private access to the grounds/taproom on our wedding day. As a queer couple, we also loved that Bad Seed partners with Big Gay Hudson Valley year-round, so we already knew they would be a queer-affirming space and our wedding day was no different. Everyone we spoke to / worked with helped make our wedding a magical experience.

We had our wedding at Kindred Creeks at the beginning of May 2022. I have so many great things to say about this place! First off, Jill was extraordinary, caring, attentive and so helpful from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget while keeping our dream wedding a reality. She had rain plans, sunny day plans, plans for more or less people and was thorough throughout. Her father, Gerry, who lives in the farm came out the day before and day of the wedding to make sure we were taken care of and that anything we needed would be done. And the tent staff was kind, courteous and officiant! The grounds itself were gorgeous! We were the first to use the airstream bridal suite which got so many compliments and great photos. They also redid the bridge across the creek for the wedding party to walk over during the ceremony. I fell in love with the green barn and even though it needs to come down soon, they held off construction so we could take pictures in front of it. We got married right where the two creeks meet which was so beautiful. All our guest had nothing be great things to say and we are beyond happy with the experience. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the farm, don’t hesitate! You will fall in love just like we did!

They went above and beyond what was expected in helping us get it done and in a seemingly effortless way. We loved the cleanliness and comfort of the farmhouse. The proximity to the Barn was extremely beneficial. Tom Ryan accommodated us in many ways and most importantly our families had a great experience. The bathrooms are spacious and clean with baskets of essentials and well-stocked (I was looking for that)! Everything was clean from the moment we arrived at 8:30AM and stayed that way even though they were moving furniture and setting up props and decorations and signs and customizing the space throughout the day. Our family and friends haven’t stopped talking about it! Do yourself a favor and go see for yourself. We plan on going back when (if!) our youngest gets engaged because there is no other venue like the Art Factory! Thanks Donata! You created a Very special place and you made our family very happy!

Red Maple Vineyard was an absolute DREAM. Simply put: the grounds/pavilion are stunning, the staff are incredible, and the food is the best food you’ll ever have at a wedding (food was very high on our priority list!) I could write an entire essay about what an incredible time we had both planning our wedding and during the big day. From the moment we toured with Gary, we knew we wanted to get married there. Their staff were so communicative, and helped us plan some untraditional things like our own chuppah and a Pittsburgh cookie table (thank you Amy!!) Planning was a breeze, they really try to make everything so easy for you. The actual day was so stress free. Michelle made sure everything ran on time, and people got where they needed to go. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever went to, and we have to agree - unbiased, of course We were (and still are) over the moon with how everything turned out – even better than we had hoped for. I really can’t properly convey how much we love RMV. Thank you all so much!!

My husband and I chose Earthplace for our venue, because of it's beauty and serenity. We began hiking at Earthplace with our daughters during the pandemic, and it was always a special place to us. Earthplace fit our budget and the staff was easy to work with. On our big day, it rained!, but in no way did it take away from Earthplace's natural beauty. In fact, our pictures came out lovely and it was a memorable day for all of our guests. Earthplace will always be special to us, and I cherish the fact that we live close enough to visit all of the time!

We got to know Cedar Lakes by attending winter weekends and pop-up dinners while planning our wedding. Frankly, we worried that was a mistake as we got close to our wedding day -- after we had experienced CLE's hospitality a few times, our expectations were through the roof. Turns out, not a problem. With the help of the people at Cedar Lakes and our incredible team of vendors, despite our anticipation, we were absolutely floored. It was beyond perfect. The people at Cedar Lakes - each and every one of them - embody a blend of warmth and professionalism I've never witnessed anywhere. They treated every guest like family, every event went off exactly as planned, and if there were any problems that arose during the day, we never heard about them. At every turn, the CLE team added unique surprises that matched our own and our guests' style perfectly. We left (reluctantly) on Monday morning feeling as though we'd made friends at CLE, and have been treated like family every time we've returned. This is really a special place for us, and I can't emphasize enough how much of that comes from each and every person who works so hard to make CLE what it is. The food gets its own paragraph. This isn't wedding food, and its not restaurant food. It's some of the best I've had anywhere, and the CLE team executes it perfectly whether for 2 or 200. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but it is plated beautifully in a way that compliments your decor and is always paired with perfect specialty cocktails, wines, and other beverages. This was a huge reason why we chose CLE, and we are still hearing about each and every meal from our guests. All that said, the best part about this venue is the setting - it is a surreal environment to be surrounded by friends and family for a weekend, and enabled us to spend quality time with the people we love during our wedding. We can't imagine a better set-up than CLE. Having accommodations for nearly the entire wedding on site (and being there for the whole weekend) allowed us to be truly present with our guests. We were able to share some meals and downtime with our friends and family in a more causal settings, and we felt like we were able to be a part of the weekend our guests experienced (which, honestly, we are still a bit jealous of -- sports fields, two pools, a beer garden, not to mention the lake and the blob). It warms our hearts to hear over and over from our guests, even to this day, that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. All in all, we looked at a lot of venues, and I cannot imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. This will forever be one of our favorite places on earth, and we're thrilled to see what's next for CLE and their team. It doesn't get any better than this.

We love Rustic Ridge! We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here. There are so many things that we loved about it. The price of the venue was incredibly reasonable, and it allowed for a very personalized wedding which we loved (no required vendors). Wally, the owner, was amazing to work with. He had great recommendations for vendors, was very communicative and accommodating, and made the whole process so easy. We also loved that our friends could camp at the venue, which made figuring out transportation a lot easier. Lastly, the venue itself was so beautiful! Our guests gushed all night about what a perfect backdrop the valley was for the ceremony.

Camp Sacajawea was the best decision we made while wedding planning! We knew we didn’t want a standard ball room wedding but never could have imagined a venue as cool as Camp Sacajawea. The day we saw it we knew it was for us. The staff was super kind and helpful! The ambiance is eclectic and lends its self to so many possibilities, they even have a bunch of decor other couples have donate following their events to pay it forward to the next couple! You can use any vendors you want to make your event exactly as you wish! They even offer lawn games and, archery / axe throwing for events. We also came from out of state and they were super flexible/ supportive to make sure we were comfortable. Don’t hesitate if you’re interested, worth every penny! All our guests are raving about how much fun they had !

We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

We hosted a welcome party the day before our wedding at Milk and Roses new location on Box St. Daniela was a pleasure to work with, and walked us through the whole process to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted. We configured a custom menu of passed hors d'oeuvres and a pasta buffet. Their space is absolutely beautiful. The garden feels romantic and on a warm afternoon in late April was full of new life. The indoor space is cozy and chique. The staff was excellent all night - providing flawless and friendly service. We had approximately 80 people, but could have fit more if needed. Milk and Roses is a true gem in Greenpoint and we would recommend it for your next event.
