Available for events year-round, Burlington is a wedding venue located in Charles City, Virginia. The main house was first built in 1818 and has been recently restored and expanded. Burlington offers couples the exclusive use of the property for the duration of their occasion. Two outdoor ceremony sites are available, as well as an expansive indoor ceremony space that can double as a reception venue. The indoor wedding space in the Stables features exposed wooden beams and custom chandeliers, while the gardens and lawn offer views of the surrounding countryside for an outdoor ceremony. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate up to 300 seated guests. The Bridal Cottage and Groom's Den allow the wedding party a private location to prepare themselves and relax before the ceremony. At Two Rivers CC we guide you through the entire planning process from start to finish, and coordinate with your vendors. We instruct your ceremony rehearsal, and on day of your wedding we run the full-service operation from set up to break down so that you can enjoy your special celebration with family and friends. We have a preferred vendor list of amazing photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists and more that we love to work with, however you are not limited to that list and can recruit your own licensed vendors of choice. Ford’s Colony Country Club offers wide open spaces, including indoor and outdoor facilities, for a chic and sophisticated wedding celebration. Couples can host their ceremony outdoors with views of the fairways, manicured hedges, and abundant Virginia trees. Our Outdoor Ceremonies are held on our Blackheath course. Offering a Lakeside or Botanical backdrop for your photos. The Garden Pavilion is the largest of these options with a maximum capacity of 250 guests. Maybe it is the history, there is comfort in knowing the original farmhouse, which sits at the center of the property, has stood for over two centuries. Maybe its the rustic beauty of the big white barn, that was built by farmers as a dairy barn in 1920. This little slice of heaven has been a part of so many families who lived and worked this land over the past 250 years. Come and see for yourself.

Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.
