Built in 2015, The Barn at Timber Creek is a family-owned wedding venue located just 1 hour west of Richmond in Farmville, VA. Our venue offers four enchanting indoor and outdoor locations to choose from, giving you greater flexibility in planning your special day: the Barn with cathedral-style ceilings and crystal chandeliers, the covered Terrace for smaller weddings, the Lawn with sweeping, waterfront views, and our most popular location - The Pines! Brides and their bridal party can pamper themselves in our Bridal Cottage, located only a short walk away from The Barn. The Barn at Timber Creek offers various packages (including Coordination Services and On-Site Lodging) to best meet your needs on the day of your wedding. With our signature, personalized service, and attention to every little detail, we vow to make your day a memory that will last a lifetime!

The Terrace can also be transformed into a charming ceremony space for more intimate wedding ceremonies.

The Most Perfect Venue
I don’t even know what to say that will convey how absolutely stunning and perfect this venue is. We had our ceremony in the pines, which was a stunning backdrop. The barn is a beautiful combination of elegant and rustic. The bridal suite was so much fun to get ready in with my bridesmaids. As incredible as the venue itself was, Whitney Lipscomb was the part of the Barn at Timber Creek that had the biggest impact on us. As the venue owner, she provided day of coordination services to us. She was SO calming–every time we talked to her, I swear my blood pressure dropped by at least 20 points–a big deal when in the middle of wedding planning. She would listen to what we wanted to do as far as decor, and she would be supportive of our ideas but also make suggestions if she thought something else might work better for our vision. We were slow in booking the farmhouse nearby for the groomsmen to get ready in and missed out, and she helped us find another location for them to get ready. She supported us through issues with some of our other vendors. The day of our wedding, she and her team were incredible. They set up the venue exactly as we had envisioned, and they anticipated needs, found solutions, and answered questions. We have absolutely 0 regrets about this venue, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an elegant wedding venue with plenty of nature and kind people.
A Barn Venue done right!!!
The Barn at Timber Creek is by far one of our favorite venues. Not only is the venue beautiful but the scenery and landscaping are the perfect backdrop for any wedding. Their staff is great to work with and always do a phenomenal job coordinating your day. By the end of your wedding they’ll all feel like family. Oh and added bonus…there are tons of bathrooms! It’s a must, trust me! You’ll thank me later!
