Hello Couples! Thank you for visiting my listing on Zola! My name is Chelsea, and I am the owner and operator of Finishing Touch Events here in Chicago. With 7 years of coordination and planning experience in social events, primarily weddings, I've seen a little bit of everything. I understand that, along with the excitement of getting engaged and celebrating finding your person, planning a wedding can feel overwhelming. This special event involves all your family and close friends, and it comes with its own unique challenges.

That's where I come in. With my experience and calm demeanor, I will remind you to take those deep breaths, stay hydrated, and assure you both that I'm here to help with everything that has been planned, and even the things that haven't. I'll handle the details and solve any issues that arise, so you don't have to worry. My care for you and your family comes from the heart.     We used Chelsea as our wedding coordinator, and had a great experience! We hired her as our "day of" coordinator, but Chelsea helped us in the weeks leading up to our wedding, building out our timeline and being in contact with us and all of our vendors. We were definitely intimidated by the planning process, and Chelsea was very helpful in answering our questions and making the whole process more comfortable. She even gave us some fun recommendations for potential photo opportunities, and pointed us in the direction of a good dessert vendor when we were having trouble making up our mind. Overall, our wedding was so much fun, and Chelsea really helped make it that way. We were able to just enjoy ourselves and let Chelsea handle the details on the day. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend Chelsea's services to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!

    I had a great experience working with Chelsea for my wedding (of more than 300 people)! Even though I hadn’t initially planned to use an event coordinator, she was recommended by one of my friends and it was one of the best decisions I made. From the outset, she was very personable and empathetic to my needs and concerns. She came to meet me at the venue several days before the event to familiarize herself with the venue and staff. And then day-of, she did a great job at keeping everything moving smoothly from the bride and groom and family entrances to the food to the pictures and more. I would highly recommend Chelsea for your event needs.

    Molly and Corrine were amazing! They answered any and all questions prior to the big day and then made sure everything was executed flawlessly on the wedding day. The meetings that they have with you leading up makes you feel so prepared that there won’t be any issues. They were the reason our day went off perfectly would not say enough good things about them. The best duo to work with who truly makes sure your wedding day is covered from beginning until the end!
