Hi there, I’m Olivia, the face behind Afterglow Weddings and Events! With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, including catering and venue sales, I've been part of more than 100 love stories. My journey in the Chicago wedding industry has included time as a venue coordinator, catering sales manager and event coordinator. My favorite part about working in the industry is working with couples to help their wedding dreams come to life. At Afterglow Weddings and Events, I'm dedicated to bringing your dreams to life and ensuring every detail reflects your unique love story.
Having been in the Chicago wedding industry for over 5 years I have a wide range of experience working in catering, venues and private planning. I wanted to use my expertise to help all couples bring their dream wedding to life!

Book Liv Immediately!
Liv was an absolute all star with helping us on our big day. We engaged her for day-of coordination and it’s hard to imagine how we could have navigated our wedding without her. Our experience with her was incredible from our first meeting with her a few months out from the day, all the way to post-wedding. She stayed on top of all of our vendors and the venue and was a consummate professional all the way through. Liv was incredibly organized and knowledgeable, and executed our shared plan flawlessly. We could not recommend her more to help with something as important, special, and personal as a wedding or any other event!

I am so grateful for Olivia and all of her help on our wedding day! Olivia began working with us in the weeks leading up to the big day, and from the start, she was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and understanding. She listened to all our ideas and worked closely with us to ensure everything ran smoothly. In addition to creating a detailed timeline, Olivia was there to lend a helping hand throughout the day. Her calm, positive demeanor was such a relief on a day that can feel like it's happening all at once! One of our guests even said, 'I've never been to a wedding where everything has run so smoothly and on time.' I think that really says it all about Olivia!

I cannot thank Olivia Abby from Afterglow Weddings and Events ENOUGH for the INCREDIBLE job they did for my husband & I's wedding at RPM Events in Chicago. They made not only wedding day with our crazy families, but also the 3 months leading up to our big day a BREEZE. We debated not hiring a planner/coordinator since I'm a very organized & Type-A individual anyways & RPM Events providers a coordinator, but Olivia & Abby put me to shame with ALL their organizational skills, the little details I forgot, their experiences with other brides & vendors- not to mention they're overall just kind & fun individuals! From 3 months out, Olivia took everything over & we got to just enjoy the final meetings, picking songs, wedding shower, etc. with no worries, stress or bridezilla moments about anything else. 100% easily the best investment we made for our wedding when hiring Afterglow, and looking back we couldn't have had such a successful day with ZERO things going wrong (seriously, we were that prepared thanks to Afterglow that NOTHING went wrong). Even before our wedding day arrived we were already recommending Olivia to ALL our friends that still need to get married & we will continue to do so! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!!
Wedding "Day of" Coordinator
I cannot recommend Afterglow enough! I hired Afterglow for "day of" coordination, but Olivia did so much more than that! Olivia began working with me about 4 months out which is right around when I started to freak out about how I would get everything done. Olivia helped streamline the process and helped me organize myself and my thoughts leading up to the wedding! Then the day of Wedding, Olivia and Abby were amazing! I truly didn't feel stressed about anything and they were prepared and able to help in ways I didn't even imagine! Thank you Olivia and Abby again! You should not hesitate to hire Afterglow!
