Renegade Outpost is a full service event planning and chef services company. We've been in business for 7 years and have been working with Thumbtack. We have been hired more than 290 times and have 160 5-star reviews. We offer logistical services as well as day/of coordination and securing rentals. Our "rolodex" includes many of the best vendors for all your event needs. Making your job easier is our highest priority. Wonderful food always begins with amazing ingredients, especially produce. We source directly from local farmers, we work with an organic butcher, a wild fish monger and importers of select cheese and specialty products.

Food is the heart of every catered event. We work with you and curate the menu based on seasonal delicious produce, expert preparation and beautiful presentation. The produce inspires us and we often build a dish around the vegetables. From plated dinners to high end cocktail events... from chef-manned stations to grazing tables... from fundraisers and galas to weddings and themed events, we have the professional staff to ensure your event runs smoothly. We were inspired by Leanna and Jean's cultural backgrounds, Italian and Dominican respectively. Given that I am also of Sicilian/Cuban background, this allowed me to effortlessly create a bountiful menu combining both their cuisines

    Chef Ellen did a great job catering and organizing our wedding reception at the DUMBO Loft. She was always in touch, and did a great job, especially for the price. The guests were all highly impressed, and the venue looked great!

    We chose Renegade Outpost based on their extensive menu and value for money. Chef Ellen worked with us from day one to create a beautiful, customized menu that all of our guests loved (and so did we!). She also worked with us on other aspects of planning such as party rentals and a floor plan. A major bonus is that Renegade Outpost focuses on minimizing food waste. The food was delicious, beautiful and eco-friendly and the staff was super helpful and helped give us the most magical wedding day experience

The quality of her work was truly impeccable - the food they served was absolutely delicious, full of vibrant flavors that left our guests raving all night long. Chef Ellen is more than just a caterer, she was integral to helping us have the wedding of our dreams.     Renegade Outpost Review Chef Ellen was really great to work with! From the start of our conversation to the wedding day, working with Renegade Outpost was an exceptional experience. Everyone raved about the food at our wedding! The appetizers were an early show stopper. Our favorites were the Cremini mushrooms & Jackfruit Mini Tacos - YUM! We had Latin style main entree, Pollo Guisado, which my husband absolutely loved. On top of the amazing food Chef Ellen was really fabulous to work with personally. She worked within my budget, made it easy to stay in touch, and I felt she had our best interest at heart. She was personable and gave us her honest options and opinions. She also helped us with the rentals we needed and finding a bar tender. I was very satisfied with our whole experience.
