About this venue

We love the city, but really need more time in nature. We assume most New Yorkers would agree. We created this space to allow our community a quiet space among plants, birds, insects, and urban wildlife. Carroll Hall is a warehouse space, garden, lounge, a skylit indoor room, catering kitchen, and discreet wooden “treehouse.” Discovery, wonder, and the unexpected are big themes. Whether an eccentric insect or vignette through a wall opening, we revel in curiosity. Ultimately, the garden is the heart of Carroll Hall; the promise of a quiet moment outside is our grounding force. See the COVID precautions we are taking in the rooms section.

An industrial event wonderland

Our sun-drenched Warehouse boasts 25’ tall ceilings with skylights, an elevated DJ booth, custom cedar walls inspired by the cellular structure of birch trees, an 8x8 pivot door leading out to the gardens, restrooms, and a private mezzanine lounge with a balcony. Everything but the DJ booth and mezzanine lounge/balcony are ADA accessible.

No, however, we do offer bar packages on property.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Your reservation includes twelve hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up.

All cancellations must be by written notice. Cancellation varies depending on the date of the received written notice but within 30 days, clients are 100% liable for total anticipated revenue.
