I want to begin by saying that I was hesitant when choosing a wedding coordinator because some that I had spoken with before weren't open to my vision for our wedding. Mackenzie right off the bat was just a spark of joy and a light in the wedding planning process! She was able to set up a meeting over zoom and instantly, I knew she was different. She was so supportive of our dreams for our day and really helped bring everything to life! She assisted with small things I probably would have never thought of as well as big things I knew would stress me out. From decor to communication with vendors to literally making sure she brought us our plate of food personally to our sweet heart table, Mackenzie was an excellent source of help. She was our day of coordinator but in reality she was so much more. She took care of us and made sure we were priority so we could soak in all the joy it is to have a wedding without the stress. She handles business so well and is very reliable. My husband had never met her prior to wedding day and after the wedding, he had nothing but great things to say about her about how nice and helpful she was! As the groom to be honest I was skeptical of getting a wedding coordinator in the first place but Ashlee absolutely blew it out of the water. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day, all I did was show up and party! The one single issue that did come up (someone showing up that wasn’t invited lol) Ashlee handled it quickly and quietly. I still don’t know how it was resolved even with it now being 9 months post wedding which is hilarious to me:)! Ashlee is 100% worth the investment!

Before I got engaged, I never spent a whole lot of time or energy thinking about what my potential wedding day would entail. As soon as we got engaged I was getting bombarded with questions from family, friends and coworkers about our upcoming wedding that we didn’t even have a set date for. Flash forward after securing our venue, I knew, as a Type A person but also pretty calm bride, I wouldn’t be able to juggle our vendors, nor know all the important day-of questions - I knew I wanted coordinators. Little did I know Catherine and Caylynn would help us to fulfill the most incredible and (most importantly) seamless wedding day. I genuinely had zero stress on my one day as a bride. And I stress, one day, because it’s monumental and something we planned for 12 months and it comes and goes so fast. We started working with a Caylynn and Catherine about 4 months out - we had an initial call where we got to know one another and our vision for our big day and from there (1) hour long call each month leading up to our date. My husband and I set up a call with our DJ 3 weeks out and he got on our call having already talked with Catherine! It was in that exact moment I knew we made the right decision to add them to our team. They delivered on everything they said they would do, they were highly communicative and accessible. Did I mention we live in Miami and had our wedding in Dallas? They we accommodating to doing everything virtually since we were not local and made adjustments when time zones were challenging. I could go on and on but if you were wondering if budgeting for wedding coordinators was worth it, with Joie de Vivre Events, it 100% is. If you’re the partner needing to convince the other one - use this review! Mine was on the fence, but looking back he would say we should have paid them triple! ;)

Blake and his team are the best in the industry, hands down. We booked him for a full wedding package. He made sure everything was perfect for us. During the planning process, he was always easy to reach and very patient with our many questions. He was super communicative throughout the entire engagement period. He gave great recommendations for vendors too. Even if we decided to go with other vendors, he was extremely professional and took everything in-stride. He was highly organized: he kept detailed notes for all our requests and meetings and ensured we were always aware of how things were progressing by using a Trello board, which was extremely assuring! I’m a Type A perfectionist, so I was worried about leaving everything in someone else’s hands but it was SO SO easy to relax because I knew he was taking care of it. I couldn’t recommend a more competent wedding planner. If you’re on the fence or even just starting your search for a wedding planner, I can confidently say your search is done! You found the best! It was July when Leo proposed to me and we decided to be wed in September. I was almost in tears as I do not know where to start. It is very evident that she goes to great links to see that their wedding or celebration is complete, organized, fun, and within whatever the client's budget range is. I am a DJ and have worked a dozen or so events with her and her team and everything always flows so smoothly that her clients get to really enjoy whatever the celebration is about. Jess takes time to understand your vision for the event and puts together a vendor portfolio worthy of that vision. She works very well with all of the vendors and goes through several drafts of the agenda to make sure everyone is on the same page and knows how to collaborate with them on social media. All in all, Jess's process for executing your event to your liking is her first priority and she'll make you feel like you're the only one she's working with.

I found my love and joy for weddings when getting a job my sophomore year of high school at a bridal store as a bridal assistant. I loved watching the joy the brides get from finding their dream gown, but wanted to do more. I happened upon Callie on instagram in the early stages of wedding planning hoping to find someone that could help me narrow things down so I could actually begin the planning process. From my husband & I's first call with Callie I knew she would be perfect to help us with our wedding day. She is such a calm presence and someone to call on anytime with any questions. She gave me all of her recommendations for vendors and helped me narrow things down right away which was life saving because there are just too many vendors out there to go through alone. Knowing that she knew everyone she was recommending to us and had worked with them in the past gave me such ease and confidence. Now, my wedding day... OMG my wedding day. It was so relaxing. Stressed would not even be anywhere near how I felt. I showed up to the venue and Callie was there, biggest smile, handling all the things. She checked on me multiple times making sure I had everything I needed as well as my whole bridal party. The whole wedding ran so smoothly, everything was on time... I could go on and on. I am so lucky that after this I can now truly call Callie my friend. Truly the best in the business. My wedding would not have been ANYTHING close to what I was without her. We are forever grateful!!!!!
