We were thrilled with Port 393 as the venue for our wedding reception. Throughout the planning process, the staff was extremely timely, polite, and attentive in their communication. On the big day itself, they helped ensure everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and soak in every special moment with our guests. The venue space was clean, beautifully decorated, and very well organized. Port 393 handled the complete setup and teardown, allowing us to enjoy the entire event hassle-free. Their staff went above and beyond to be helpful and thoughtful in every interaction. We truly appreciated all of their hard work to make our wedding reception such a memorable night. Our wedding at Barrelhouse the Venue was perfect. Everything went exactly as we had hoped. It’s such an interesting historic building and Michigan City is a great place to visit.

My wedding planning experience with Uptown was phenomenal. If you have the pleasure of working alongside Jeremy and Judy, they are there to support and manage decisions with you every step of the way, helping you feel like you are in control of your vision while they help guide what all they can do for you to make it happen. Both professional and empathetic to your needs and vision, we felt like a dreamy team to put the day together from the start. (We had our reception here only, so it was great to not have the stress of a room flip.) Would recommend you ask them for local recommendations, as we used just about every recommendation they had; florist, cake, driving service, and local accommodations for our bridal party and our guests. Every single recommendation was amazing to work with, with professionalism and the touch of warmth from a small town that we personally loved, all thanks to Uptown. Michigan City is the cutest Lake town with surprisingly a lot of food, drinks, and nature to explore. This was a semi-destination wedding for us and our guests as we are from Chicago and most other family from Ohio or farther. So a lot of guests took advantage of having an extended weekend to explore the National Park, Lake, and Winery in the area. So if that is something you think your guests would like to take advantage of, it was definitely a winning aspect leading up to the day. We got to mingle with guests prior to the wedding so it didn't feel like a complete rush of saying hello to all of our guests on Saturday. The venue is spectacular, perfect for a modern church vibe turned into a booming party space; we ended up clearing our head table from the stage to have more room for fun and dancing! The sound system is awesome, so one less thing for a DJ to have to bring. Lighting in the ball room is customisable which we had a lot of fun working with Jeremy on to change the mood for each part of the night. All other areas of the venue are simple, elegant, and give the space for guests to mix and mingle without being stuck in one area of your wedding (bar lounge, courtyard, front patio, and balcony areas). I could seriously not say enough about the wonderful experience we had at our wedding, and Uptown was definitely a key player. Much love to Jeremy and Judy 3

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

I have participated in many weddings at Pathway as a guest and tech support person. It's been a pleasure to see how couples and families are so happy with their Big Day turning out just as they wanted. The church staff is easy to work with and open to incorporating your ideas. The sanctuary is a wonderful traditional setting & the courtyard provides a great backdrop for photos.

Northlake is one of the most beautiful venues in Southwest Michigan in Berrien Springs. Regardless of the time of year, you can have the ceremony inside or outside and it is very spacious if you are wanting to have a larger wedding. This is a venue that does not require massive amounts of decor, because of how beautiful it is on its own. The bridal suites are spacious, and comfortable. There are also many photo opts on the property, including by the lake and around the venue, to take photos with your significant other and bridal party. The scenic view out back is beautiful for all times of the year depending on when you have your wedding. My husband and I are extremely thankful to have gotten to work with Danelle throughout planning our wedding! She was amazing and helpful with questions we had, and we couldn’t have done a lot of it without her! She was also very flexible and willing to work with us to make our day exactly what we wanted and special.

Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

The Armory was absolutely the perfect venue for our August wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! Megan served as our coordinator and she was amazingly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. She was also very flexible, willing to accommodate to our preferences, and work within our budget. Table decor, food, drink packages are all included which made coordinating the reception very easy. The food is through Navarre Catering is delicious - lots of great options to choose from!

We had many compliments on the food as well! Their preferred vendor list also led us to other amazing connections for the day. We would highly recommend booking with Aberdeen!

I can’t recommend a better venue! This venue was EVERYTHING! The owners, Brittany and Nick, are absolutely sweet and communicated promptly. The venue is family ran by having family doing different parts. The coordinator Lauren was the calmest ever and helped calm my nerves and handled all the issues without me even knowing. She and her team were amazing! Lauren helped give me the wedding of my dreams. This venue was perfect and the beautiful bridal suite is so spacious and beautiful! Also there’s an airbnb on property that me, my girls, and my mom stayed the night before (it can sleep 15 people). I could go on about my love for the venue and the caring people I’ve met that maintain the character and charm. If you want barn but also elegant…this is the venue for you!

The venue is truly amazing. The terrance for our ceremony looked over the Michigan Lake and the City of Chicago Skyline. The indoor area to eat and dance shows a great classy and modern decor. The venue definitely speaks for itself, and does not require much decorations to reflect a beautiful wedding. One downside we experienced was communication. My wife and I were shocked on some of the responses. This was our first time getting married, and some of the communications back to us made it seem like we should know everything about the wedding industry. We also had to repeat multiple emails and communications even though this information was given to another college at the venue.

The location (right next to Navy Pier) is optimal and the outside/inside flexibility was greatly appreciated. During and after our rehearsal dinner, our guests thanked us several times for the delicious food at Pinstripes. The event planning team has been great to work with --through tastings, room setup, and again, re-planning our entire event with COVID. If you're looking for a great location, delicious food, a rustic setup on the river, and a great planning team, look no further! Wedding planning is already quite time consuming and a few Pinstripes below alleviated so many of our stresses throughout: Jessica Randel has been very responsive and proactive throughout her time with us--we had to make significant changes to our plans due to COVID and she helped bring our new vision (keeping everyone as safe as possible while maximizing our rehearsal dinner experience). She's helped us change our 150 person wedding to an intimate rehearsal dinner gathering outside, expertly advised us on various dinner services and setup, helped us safely manage new Chicago COVID rules (that changed week to week), and during the week of she kept us abreast of the weather and proactively guided us into a stress-free scenario. We cannot wait to work with her next year as we reschedule our big wedding reception in the downstairs ballroom. My husband and I also cannot thank Sherry Kenny, Diana Grodecki, and Jeremy Hopkins enough for the excellent expertise and service-driven customer experience. Sherry, at Oakbrook Pinstripes, provided us invaluable advice as we were navigating our COVID change in plans and managing through the changing circumstances in Chicago. Diana worked with us during the early phases, making our wedding tasting and early planning experience with my family a blast. At our rehearsal dinner, Jeremy ensured that every one of our guests received the top food and drink service, that his staff took precautionary measures, and that everyone had a phenomenal time. These efforts on your wedding weekend make a huge difference and we couldn’t have been more happy with our rehearsal dinner evening. We cant wait to finalize our big wedding reception plans with them in 2021 and return for another great experience.

My husband and I got married here on December 30th and it was an absolute dream. We had our ceremony and reception on the 6th floor and our cocktail hour in between the two on the 5th floor. The space was beautiful with fantastic views of the park and the lake. Once the sun went down, the space within was a perfect blend of modern and romantic with warm soft lighting and beautiful decor. It was so nice not to have to provide an intense amount of decoration since the space was so lovely itself. Our guests were also very impressed and complimentary! Paulette and her team were both professional and enjoyable to work with. Everyone was so kind, supportive, and put our happiness first. They were accommodating of all the special dietary restrictions and decorative requests we had. The bridal suite was also a fantastic space to escape to for a breather throughout the event. I would absolutely recommend this as a wedding venue, event space or anything else your heart could imagine!

Millennium Hall is a multi-concept food destination that joins a roster of incredible restaurants from around the city of Chicago, while offering a backdrop of the sights and sounds of iconic Millennium Park.

The event staff are great to work with. Sabrina, Olivia, and Kate were all very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The food was delicious! We had 2 bartenders for our party of 100 people. No one ever had to wait for a drink. Security was made available to keep wedding crashers out. We had a cocktail style party for our reception under the white tent since we got married in June. Unfortunately it rained a little before the party but ended 30 min into it. The tent protected us pretty well, but the floor was wet near the edges of the tent the rest of the night. We did have the option until the morning of to switch our reception to inside of the Napolita restaurant. But, I spent a year planning this outdoor party and didn't want to change it, lol. It was nice to know that they were flexible and waiting to help out in any way they could. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding/reception under a tent and are worried about potential rain, ask for the tent side panels as a precaution. Those cannot be provided last minute, unfortunately. But, the tent space is amazing for a ceremony and/or reception! Millennium Park is a beautiful backdrop, so you can't go wrong with this venue.
