From the beautifully landscaped ceremony, photo, and reception spaces, to the outstanding food and service, there was no detail overlooked. Elizabeth helped us coordinate the entire wedding long-distance. I was in Florida, and the bride was in Chicago. But with her guidance, we were able to coordinate the local vendors needed to pull off a dream wedding.

Port was an absolute dream!! The venue itself is modern and gorgeous. My guest loved being able to spend the night dancing downstairs or chatting on the couches on the rooftop! Getting ready at the venue itself made my day much less stressful! The Port staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to make your day amazing. My photos from Kollen Park (nearby) are gorgeous against the water! Holland was a perfect long weekend wedding destination and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Late night pretzels from The Knot Spot (nearby) were a hit too!!

Unbelievably tranquil and beautiful garden venue with exquisite food and top-notch service. We toured many wedding venues in Chicago and the suburbs, but none of them felt like a destination getaway, with the exception of Meyer’s Castle. By far, our singular favorite place among those we have seen. It's worth every penny to get married here. The service, ambiance, and food are all exceptional!

From the grandeur of the 8-foot chandelier and star-like pendant lights to the vintage charm of the ornate tin ceiling tiles, this venue marries historical preservation with modern elegance. The impressive wooden doors promise an unforgettable ceremony entrance, complemented by antique lounge sets and a private entrance through a picturesque glass atrium, perfect for a cocktail hour. The photos I'm including are frames from a video I took during the tour and they simply do not do this beautiful space justice! As a Chicago couple seeking a beautiful wedding without the metropolitan price tag, we were thrilled by 19 North's proximity to Chicago and charming towns like Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Michigan City. The all-inclusive experience, from the beautiful furnishings to the option of building a custom menu, means fewer details to manage and more time to enjoy the journey to our special day. We had a wonderful wedding at Journeyman in Valparaiso, IN. The East room space was beautifully decorated and was exactly what we wanted for our big day! Lenore and the team were extremely helpful throughout the process, ensuring our vision was brought to life. We received many compliments on the food, drinks and overall space. As a newer property Journeyman is growing into a popular spot and creating a brand for themselves similar to their Michigan location. Patience, communication and flexibility went both ways and at the end of the night - we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you!

Our wedding at Etre farms was absolutely perfect. The Etre team makes wedding plan a dream. I kept thinking to myself, "why am I not stressed yet..shouldn't I be stressed?" month over month ahead of our wedding day - but it's because they think of quite literally everything. Working with their team requires very little from the bridegroom to make your dreams and vision come true. This was especially important to use as we live in a different state and are on the go for work nearly every week. Of course you still need to offer input and share your general vision but they help walk you through details you may be unfamiliar with - we had a handful of meetings over the course of the year and everything we discussed was made a reality. When the wedding finally came, we couldn't have asked for a better day. From the hospitality throughout the getting ready period with our personal concierge and food/drinks provided, to the beautiful space they created with in-house florals (Nicole is amazing!), the best wedding food I've ever had (by far), the beautiful details and signage (shout out Elliana @ Brush Letter Boards) and Etre's amazing in-house DJ - our wedding guests were and still are raving. This review would go on and on if I tried to highlight all the little details this team thought of. We are genuinely sad the planning process is over because we loved meeting and talking with this team regularly - they are all very kind people - so easy to work with and operate like a well-oiled machine. Highly recommend this group and this venue!

I was shocked the first time I visited and met with Angelique and Richard. We had a really great time with them, felt comfortable and well informed. They were very transparent and we didn’t feel like they were just trying to get the sale like every other place we toured. Not to mention the prices for what you get is worth every penny. The place is clean, well kept and everything we wanted . And being a photographer, this place has the perfect lighting. Excited to work with them for our event very soon!

Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

The Armory was absolutely the perfect venue for our August wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! Megan served as our coordinator and she was amazingly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. She was also very flexible, willing to accommodate to our preferences, and work within our budget. Table decor, food, drink packages are all included which made coordinating the reception very easy. The food is through Navarre Catering is delicious - lots of great options to choose from!

Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.

Aberdeen- specially Renee and Trey did such a great job working with us for our double wedding. It was something new to them and they did a great job with communication and being upfront about what needed to be done and what they needed from us. The day of our wedding Renee made sure my sister and I were taken cared of and we only we did what we wanted to not what others wanted. Trey did a fantastic job with our decor for our Harry Potter theme wedding. He brought to life our vision in the best way and made it better. If I could do this all over again I would go back to Aberdeen their team gives such great support and helped us with everything along the way. If we had a question they always got back to our emails or calls.

i got married May 25th, 2024 at the design barn! from the food to the space itself to Alex (coordinator)…everything was perfect. this wedding venue was the first one we looked at when we were hunting but NOTHING came close to the design barn. its charm and decor fit perfect with my vision and made pictures perfect. its now 4 months later after the wedding and we STILL get the best compliments of having the best food people have ever had at a wedding (yes the short rib ravioli is THAT good-thanks Chef!) i love the space 1) for the men to get ready because that was very important to have everyone together the day of and 2) having two bars meant no waiting for drinks so everyone can get back to the dance floor and enjoy the night! i recommend this place x 100 for anyone wanting a stress-free, gorgeous day or night of celebration! Millennium Hall is a multi-concept food destination that joins a roster of incredible restaurants from around the city of Chicago, while offering a backdrop of the sights and sounds of iconic Millennium Park.

The event staff are great to work with. Sabrina, Olivia, and Kate were all very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The food was delicious! We had 2 bartenders for our party of 100 people. No one ever had to wait for a drink. Security was made available to keep wedding crashers out. We had a cocktail style party for our reception under the white tent since we got married in June. Unfortunately it rained a little before the party but ended 30 min into it. The tent protected us pretty well, but the floor was wet near the edges of the tent the rest of the night. We did have the option until the morning of to switch our reception to inside of the Napolita restaurant. But, I spent a year planning this outdoor party and didn't want to change it, lol. It was nice to know that they were flexible and waiting to help out in any way they could. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding/reception under a tent and are worried about potential rain, ask for the tent side panels as a precaution. Those cannot be provided last minute, unfortunately. But, the tent space is amazing for a ceremony and/or reception! Millennium Park is a beautiful backdrop, so you can't go wrong with this venue.

It is hard to put into words just how extraordinary my wedding was at the CAA. The catering team made the planning process such an enjoyable one and I had complete trust in each person involved. The ballrooms are unlike any in the city: elegant and historic with gorgeous views. We had our ceremony and reception in the White City Ballroom, overlooking Millennium Park and the lake. The Executive Chef and Pastry Chef are extremely inventive and I can assure you that this is not your typical hotel wedding plated dinner. The tasting was such a fun day and it became so clear that I had picked the right venue for my wedding. The team made us feel so special and personalized the whole experience for us. My wedding guests are still gushing over the dinner months later! They also offer table-side choice of entree and synchronized service, which was truly incredible to watch! The servers were so dedicated to proving the best service. The Director of Banquets and Banquet Manager went over the top to make sure this was a stress free day for me. I never had to worry about a thing! We had an after party in the Game Room. It was great to have such a fun spot to go after the wedding...in the same building. My guests loved it! I am so grateful for the whole team at the CAA for making my wedding a dream come true!

My husband and I had the luxury of hosting our special day at Hyatt Regency Chicago. We knew it would be a seamless day with Rebecca Stern at the helm. She provided innovative ideas, solutions to areas of opportunity, and always provided a listening ear with any inquiry that arose. The Hotel Staff was prompt with any onsite request(s), and made our Guests feel welcomed from the point of arrival until post-Wedding Brunch. We utilized the onsite Outlet restaurant(s) for various social gatherings, and felt the Team was well prepared for our Wedding weekend. For out-of-town Guests, or suburban locals, their location alone allows for scenic exploring and easy transportation from Ceremony to Reception location(s). We hosted a post-Wedding Brunch onsite, and it capped off a wonderful weekend. We highly recommend Hyatt Regency Chicago for your special day!

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and affordable coordinating a party of 150 with this team. We didnt want a traditional reception, so we had a party with small bites and an open bar. The view is obviously amazing, but the decor and the vibe is also unbeatable. The food was great, the service made me feel special. They accommodated our needs, but the place is pretty plug and play. I highly recommend.
