We are a Christian based, family owned wedding venue located in our hometown of Ellerbe, NC! The venue was built for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding in the fall of 2023. It was built as an act of love between an extremely close family.

Sixty Acres, A Gathering Place is a barn wedding venue located in Mount Pleasant, NC which is located 35 minutes from downtown Charlotte, 20 minutes from Concord, NC, and 20 minutes from Albemarle, NC. The property is set on 60 acres of picturesque farmland, adding to its charming, rustic atmosphere. Known for its spectacular sunset views, couples from across the state travel there to celebrate their love in a lush, natural farm setting. At Sixty Acres, A Gathering Place, you and your partner can host up to 250 guests for your milestone occasion. When celebrating there, your day will begin at the brand new, two-story barn situated at the heart of the property.

The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.
