Whether you're looking for a place to hold a formal gathering or wedding, or need a more relaxed environment for a family reunion, party for any occasion or festival, The Longhouse is the perfect destination for your function. Beautifully situated at the top of a hill overlooking a lake on approximately 450 acres tree farm and wildlife preserve. The Longhouse building has a large hall that can be used in a variety of ways. It's cathedral ceiling and large stone hearth make it both beautifully spacious and warm and inviting. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony that over looks the hall, and rooms for both the bride and groom to get ready in. Please feel free to contact us.

It's your special day. You've worked hard to make everything beautiful. The Longhouse facility with its exposed wood timber structure and large 8 foot stone hearth add to its rustic charm and beauty. Situated on approximately 450 acre wildlife preserve, The Longhouse offers a serenely beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily accessible from Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem. The Longhouse is conveniently located from any direction.

The Longhouse is a beautiful location to get married. My husband and I had our ceremony outside by the big tree with the lake in the background. Our reception was inside and it was beautiful, we were allowed to decorate and set it up in the way that worked best for us. Anna is the most delightful person to work with, she was so very helpful and even while pregnant she was at our wedding helping us set up and making sure everything was perfect. I can not imagine getting married anywhere else!

Our wedding day was a day we will never forget. We had a wonderful experience with The Longhouse and Anna was the icing on the cake! She went ABOVE and beyond to make sure our wedding day went smooth and truly cared about us. We got married in November of 2018 and we still keep in touch with Anna and are so grateful for all she did to make our day PERFECT! The Longhouse is a BEAUTIFUL location. 2 years later and we just finished our first photoshoot as a family of 3 with our 6 month old son. The Longhouse will always be a special place to us!

Fall Late August -November.

All inside tables and chairs are included with the rental which we set up and tear down for all events. Access to catering kitchen and two dressing rooms upstairs. Access to all of the covered porch and surrounding beautiful outside space also included.

We have a ton of locations onsite for the ceremonies. Inside or outside they are all beautiful!

Every client pays $100 alcohol deposit with their rental. If they choose to have alcohol the deposit is forfeited for additional clean up. Clients also sign a release form which transfers all liability into their hands in regards to both alcohol and food. It is up to the client to hire or not hire a licensed caterer or bartender. Although, we strongly recommend hiring licensed vendors.

We have a parking lot on site with a secondary parking lot just a bit further up the road. The primary parking lot holds roughly 80 to 100 vehicles.

We have two dressing rooms available upstairs for getting ready on site if the client wishes to use the space. We do not have any overnight accommodations onsite.

We do have a preferred vendor list of vendors we would personally recommend. however we do not require clients to use vendors strictly from this list. Clients were able to bring in any vendor of their choice at no additional cost or few.

The venue is handicap accessible with the exception of our dressing rooms upstairs with can only be accessed by the spiral staircase seen pictures.
