The Union Exchange is a gorgeous wedding venue and farm located in Monroe, NC. This stunning 100-year-old property expands over 54 acres of NC farm land encompassing an indigenous pine tree forest and 3.5 acres of scenic ponds. Featuring an abundance of restored historic structures and with a capacity of 150 guests, you and your sweetheart are sure to find the perfect locale to say "I do." Kickstart your dreamy wedding weekend with our onsite accommodations including two private houses and glamping cabins. Gather your loved ones for your picturesque ceremony on the sprawling event lawn with luminous fountain views or in the magical pine tree forest. As the party atmosphere fills the air, retreat to one of our reception barns that combine vintage craftsmanship and elegant design! The Auction Barn is our flagship historic structure that has been brought back to life with rustic cedar walls, craftsman custom-made bar, vintage restored windows and marbled concrete floors. The barn includes two ADA compliant bathrooms and opens out to our Carolina Pavilion looking over our enormous lawn, pond and fountains. Only available when booking a Full Farm Wedding Package.

One of the most magical features of The Union Exchange is the NC indigenous pine tree forest. Nestled amongst the trees, couples can enjoy a secluded retreat while celebrating their big day in the stunning Pine View Barn. Completed with a custom patio and just a short stroll away from the ceremony site that is located within the natural hallway of pine trees. Available as part of our Full Farm Package or Pine View Package

Not to mention guests can enjoy the climate controlled inside as well as two different outdoor party spaces! Featured in our Farmhouse Wedding Package, the McCain House is perfectly suited for an intimate wedding reception.

The Full Farm Packages includes all sleeping accommodations the night of your wedding, your option of ceremony location and reception location, plus so much more. Enjoy getting ready onsite in the gorgeous McCain House before checking in to the Homestead Farm House and Pond house. Couples can choose between the Auction Barn or Pineview Barn for reception and also have the option of adding Splinters for cocktail hour at no extra cost.

This packages offers couples the chance to take full advantage of the farm with all sleeping accommodations in an enchanting private setting.

This micro wedding option is perfect for those wanting a more intimate wedding! The Farmhouse package begins the day of your wedding at 10am with full access to the historic McCain House before checking into the Homestead & Pond Houses for sleeping accommodations. Meet your partner at the aisle in our pine tree forest or whimsical meadow. After “I do” your group will journey to the The McCain House for your reception. Available for weekdays (Monday - Thursday) weddings
