“My wife and I had an absolutely traumatic photography search experience. Our original photographer never panned out, was shady, and never made it seem like they cared about the product. That's why when we decided to search for someone new and stumbled upon Chelsea, we knew the stars were aligning at the the correct time with this absolute blessing in disguise. From our first meeting, Chelsea listened to us, understood what we were coming from and where we wanted to go in terms of our photos. Her breathtaking bright and colorful photos were exactly what we were looking for in our April wedding. Despite meeting in person for the first time the day of our wedding, the lead up and communication day of made it feel like we were old friends seeing each other again. Both her and her husband/second shooter Ryan are top notch. They executed all the fun little quirks we wanted perfectly, including our groomsmen "NFL Entrance" photos, and private "First Touch". They stayed through most of the night and captured the entire reception, intros, dances, and party. We left for our honeymoon less than 2 days later, and by the time we landed, we already had 100 (!) photos as a sneak peek. The turnaround time was incredible. “My husband and I absolutely adore Kristen. Trying to pick a photographer was an overwhelming decision for us due to the fact that there are so many different styles and we weren’t sure what we were looking for. But once we talked to Kristen on the phone we knew she was the perfect fit for us. Her energy over the phone was so infectious and made us excited to get in front of her camera. Our first time meeting her was at our engagement shoot. We decided to go with a sunrise beach session and Kristen showed up with energy and ready to capture our love. She was down to do any pose and was always hyping us up on how perfect our pictures were coming out. We had so much fun and were just able to relax and be ourselves. This all translated into the beautiful pictures we received from Kristen. From the time of our engagement shoot (July 2023) to our wedding (September 2024) Kristen was always checking in to see how we were doing and how excited she was to shoot our big day. It was so awesome to have constant check ins with her!! The day of our wedding (9/21/24) was so amazing thanks to Kristen. She was with us for majority of the day and always made sure to hype us all up and to make sure I knew I could take breaks from pictures at any time. “Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?”

They excel at both pieces of the wedding photographer's role: the experience of having them photograph the event, and the photos they deliver at the end. On your wedding day: They of course will follow your requested shoot list, portraits of family, and whatever else you want to prioritize for your wedding day. *But the real magic they deliver is that everyone forgets they are there.* Your family doesn't feel like they're being stalked by paparazzi or in a never ending staged photo shoot. I don't know how they do it, they didn't meet anyone in my family before our wedding, but every photo they delivered was an authentic reflection of that person and the moment. Nothing felt strained, staged, or uncomfortable for the subjects. Several of my family members, including my husband, don't love being photographed, and they were both so sensitive to that without losing anything important. They melt into the background and capture the smallest, lovely moments you didn't even know were happening. When they deliver the photos: The story of our wedding was told brilliantly in the first set of preview photos, which they delivered very quickly after the wedding, and even more so when we saw the full set of photos and the album.
