Kristen's Captures is a wedding and portrait photography company based in Coventry, RI. From your first consultation to your last pose, I will ensure that you have everything you need to look and feel your best in front of the camera. After getting my first camera from my mother, I immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Throughout my career, I have worked with an array of clients for all sorts of milestone moments. I know that each client is different, and am ready to document your candid, unscripted moments in a way that matches your style and aesthetic.

I have a love and passion for what I do. I understand how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the lens; and because of that, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience! Your special day should be one where you can focus on each other and the commitment you are making to one another. That is why I offer planning assistance and guidance leading up to your wedding so all your boxes are checked! I provide a fun and collaborative environment while photographing so I can capture your real smiles and your true love!

We cannot recommend Kristen enough! She did an incredible job photographing our wedding. She is efficient, professional, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day! Kristen communicated with us before our wedding to find out what was important to us. She photographed our ceremony, couple pictures, and reception. It truly was so easy for us to enjoy our day and trust in Kristen to capture our moments perfectly. Kristen took beautiful pictures at my outdoor wedding. She captured the sunset in the background, and some photos with my husband and his son and I, which was not easy since my husband's son was 2 at the time.

My husband and I have done many shoots with Kristen, and I have to say… I would never look for better because you will NOT find it. She is an amazing photographer. We did our engagement shoots and wedding photos with her and she is so passionate about what she does and produces the most beautiful photos. Kristen also just has an amazing personality. Very sweet and caring, she knows how to make any occasion feel so special! My husband and I are very awkward people but no photos seem forced or awkward. She walks you through every step. Would recommend Kristen to any and everybody!

Kristen photographed our wedding day and was able to capture every special moment, even when our timeline was disrupted due to delays from our caterer and band. Despite the challenges, Kristen stayed late, going above and beyond to ensure she captured all the important moments we wanted to remember from the best day of our lives. However, if you're seeking a more curated documentary-style video, I collaborate with talented videographers whom I highly recommend. Together, we can ensure that every aspect of your special day is beautifully captured, both in photographs and video.

Absolutely! I'm dedicated to delivering a polished and flawless collection of images for you to treasure. There's no limit to the number of photos I'll edit. Each image undergoes meticulous editing to reflect my signature bright and airy style. Additionally, I go the extra mile to ensure every detail is perfect, from removing fly-away hairs to eliminating any distracting elements that may interfere with the integrity of the photo. Black and white options are also included to add timeless elegance to your collection.

I understand the excitement of seeing your wedding photos I am equally as excited to edit and share your memories! With the packages that include this feature, I provide a 24-hour sneak peek so you can get a glimpse of your special day almost immediately. For packages without this option, you can expect to receive some sneak peeks within the first week after your wedding. The full album will typically be delivered within 4-6 weeks, allowing me to meticulously edit and curate every image to perfection.

Rest assured, in my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I've never cancelled a booking. However, in the rare event that I'm unable to photograph your wedding, I've got you covered. I have a network of trusted colleagues and a contracted assistant who can step in seamlessly to capture your special day. Additionally, I meticulously plan my travels, allowing ample time for unforeseen circumstances such as accidents or traffic, ensuring I arrive with plenty of time to spare.
