“DJ Marcus Ho is the best DJ and one of the best (if not the best) vendor we worked with for our wedding. He was extremely professional, communicative, and played fantastic music. He answered me same day when I had initially started reaching out for DJs and his initial email had a good amount of information I needed, including cost, packages, and other details you are looking for with a DJ. Also, Marcus not only did his DJ duties, but was able to MC as well for us. We weren't looking for an over the top MC - like the ones who do too much on the dance floor. Instead we were looking for someone who was able to make the proper announcements and also keep the hype up, which Marcus was great at! The whole process of working with Marcus was extremely painless and wonderful. He was very fast with answering emails and addressed any questions we had. We had 2 meetings - 1 initial introduction meeting, which immediately after I knew he was the DJ for us, and a 2nd meeting a few weeks before our big day to discuss details. Marcus provides a worksheet for the couple to fill out with Wedding party details, music picks, etc. It was very detailed and during the 2nd meeting, we discussed it in detail so he is able to ensure that your day goes well. He also above and beyond to contact the venue for our wedding as I believe it was his first time working at our venue. He wanted to make sure that he would be able to set up properly for cocktail hour and reception, and he did so without me having to be involved at all (all I needed to provide was the contact information). Marcus was also able to work on the fly with accommodate a last minute change we had to our wedding and it went off without a hitch. I had emailed him the evening before with the change and on the day, he was 100% able to make sure it was taken care of. Marcus is not one of those DJs where you give him a list of must plays and he takes them as suggestions. He does his best to play everything that you want played at your wedding. We had so many requests that I was worried not everything was going to be played, but after our 2nd meeting, he ensured us that we could even provide a few more songs, which was fantastic! Right before our wedding, he provided his mix of songs he was going to play for our guest arrival and cocktail hour. All the songs he picked fit the vibe that we were going for. On our wedding day, he played all the songs plus some more that went perfectly along with the songs we requested. He read the room and knew what our guests would love dancing to. We had a ton of fun, and our guests seemed to have as well - all thanks to Marcus immaculately curating the vibes. DJ Marcus Ho was such a wonderful person to work with and we were extremely glad to have chosen him to DJ/MC our once in a lifetime day. You should definitely use him for your wedding! PS - One additional detail I did not want to leave out, as it may be important for some people looking for wedding DJ/MCs - initially, we had thought about having a bi-lingual Chinese/English MC and Marcus was able to provide some names he worked with. Ultimately, we did not go with that option, but having the connection was extremely helpful.”

“Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. “Lucas was recommended to us as "the DJ you want to hire if you want someone you can trust to keep your dance floor full and to read the crowd to keep your party going," which immediately appealed to us. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Our guests and even our vendors are still telling us today, months later, that this was the best wedding band that they’ve ever seen. “The Barnstorm isn't a "wedding" band. They're a band. A really great band. And that makes them the best wedding band, in our opinion. We went to one of their live shows before booking them to play at our wedding and we knew immediately they were perfect. The band is 7 guys who you would want to be friends with -- which makes them blend in seamlessly at a wedding. Their range of songs is awesome. Everyone raved about their playlist, including a few of our guests who are huge music snobs. They also did an awesome job of getting everyone involved. People were dancing, singing along, even getting a second or two on the mic. It was like having a private live show at our wedding, which we loved and all of our guests loved. The vibe is much better than other wedding bands we've seen. On top of that they were incredibly easy to work with and accommodating. Brooks never made us feel bad for requesting songs, no matter how random, and they learned anything we asked them to that they had the right instruments for. Overall it was an awesome experience and we could not possibly recommend them enough. If every wedding we go to in the future has Barnstorm as the band, we'll be thrilled.”
