The Golden Scroll Soloists have been wowing Northeast audiences with a variety of styles for 20 years, melding familiar songs you love into an elegant string quartet experience. We helped popularize the "crossover string quartet", much like the Vitamin String Quartet, during the early days of classical crossover. Our style, now made mainstream by Bridgerton, predated the Netflix hit show by 15 years. We're ready to play for your ceremony, your cocktail hour, or maybe even your reception. Choose from a string quartet, string trio, string duo, or violin soloist. Let's start planning the soundtrack to your happily ever after!

Description

Perfect for wedding receptions where you prefer elegant reception music over dance party music. We can play your first dances, and guests are welcome to dance... but our refined style of music isn't the type to get a rowdy and intense dance party started. Our music is perfect for the elegant luncheon, small reception, garden party, or any size reception intended to be elegant and low-key.

    We had the pleasure of working with Golden Scroll Soloists this past December and they were absolutely amazing! Kevin is great at communicating and they went above and beyond by also playing our first dance! They have an extensive library and if that's not enough, you can also ask them to arrange songs. All of our guests loved them and we can't recommend them enough! Thank you Golden Scroll Soloists!

    Working with GSS couldn't have been easier for our wedding day. From the initial conversation with Kevin to the execution on the big day, everything was perfect. Their song repertoire is enormous and it was very easy to work with them to add a couple songs not included. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Cannot recommend them enough!

    If we could give Golden Scroll Soloists 1,000 stars we would! Kevin was extremely organized and knowledgeable in preparing for the wedding. There are soooo many song choices to choose from! The music at the ceremony was so incredibly beautiful that our priest stopped to recognize them a number of times! I could’ve listened to them play for hours—absolutely amazing! We also had them at cocktail hour at our venue and it was such a fun vibe! So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night to tell us how wonderful the strings were—they loved it! We really can’t thank Kevin and his crew enough for making our wedding truly everything we dreamed of—absolute PERFECTION!

    The Golden Scroll Soloists delivered an absolutely exceptional performance that elevated our wedding ceremony to heights we never imagined possible. From our first interaction with Kevin, the director, until the final note played at our ceremony, their professionalism and artistic excellence shone through every aspect of their service. Kevin's communication was outstanding throughout the planning process. He was responsive, detailed, and genuinely invested in ensuring the music would perfectly match our vision for the day. This proved invaluable, especially given some unexpected challenges we faced during the ceremony. What truly sets this quartet apart is their ability to adapt and perform flawlessly even under difficult circumstances. Despite receiving no support or direction from our wedding planner (who was unexpectedly absent during the ceremony), the quartet showed remarkable poise and professionalism. When sudden rain threatened to disrupt the proceedings, they seamlessly adjusted without missing a beat. Even when timeline issues arose - again due to the missing planner - they demonstrated incredible flexibility and kept the musical program flowing beautifully. The musical performance itself was nothing short of magical. Their renditions of our chosen songs were deeply moving, perfectly capturing the emotion of each moment. The way they performed our most cherished pieces brought tears to many eyes, including our own. Their technical skill was evident in every note, but it was their ability to infuse each piece with genuine feeling that made their performance truly outstanding. We cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for their presence on our special day. For any couple considering live music for their ceremony, we cannot recommend the Golden Scroll Soloists highly enough.
