A 16-year veteran of the NYC club scene. I collaborate closely with couples to create their unique musical experiences for themselves and their guests by delivering a Sophisticated Savoire-Faire of seamlessly blended hits from past decades to what's currently in vogue; citing T-40 Dance, House, IndiePop/Rock, Nu-Disko, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, Latin and Reggae as some of my favorites.

Music has always been a conduit for my self expression. At the age of 16, I was mentored by a club DJ in Seattle. I quickly discovered music had the power to facilitate joy and connection between people. From then on I have worked hard to hone intuitive skills and an eclectic musical repertoire. I pride myself in being able to tune into the vibe of a crowd and and keep the dance floor full and engaged over many different genres. As a NYC wedding DJ and DJ for special events, it's a different experience every time. I fuse my Nightlife and Wedding Experience to ensure a Packed Dance Floor performed with Sophistication, Presence, and Tact.

    We really appreciated how thorough Marcus was. We spent multiple hours discussing our music taste, the vibe we wanted to create, and the schedule for the day. We wanted mostly modern music and were sensitive to anything being too traditional or cheesy, and he totally nailed it. He is quite detail-oriented and really knows his stuff when it comes to music, and he followed our guidance on the day of without making the playlist too predictable. Super easy to work with and communicative.

    Absolutely thrilled with our experience with Marcus. From our initial consultation (and listening to some sample playlists on his website) we were confident in booking. The questionnaire he provided, and the meeting a couple weeks before our wedding went super smoothly and he just "got it" and understood what we were looking for on the night. The night came, he was right on time, with some really cool looking equipment. Even Marcus himself looked the part ready to spin. Our wedding, from the ceremony, through cocktail hour, and dancing went so smoothly. Everyone loved the music, and everyone danced and danced. We wanted a bit of a non-traditional set list when it came to the music and Marcus knocked it out of the park. Got tons of compliments night-of and afterwards. Overall just one of the easiest vendors to work with. Fairly priced, great equipment, and the skills and personality to make sure your event is what you want it to be. Would happily recommend to anyone.

    I heard many great things about Marcus through various platforms so had to hire him as our DJ. He not only showed up promptly to get everything set up properly but showed immense attention to detail and accommodated all our requests. The guests LOVED the music he played and he also incorporated all our playlists throughout the night seamlessly. I can't recommend Marcus enough, you will not regret it!
