Do yourself a favor and hire her! We hired Kristen about 6 months prior to our summer wedding. She immediately started helping us with finding remaining vendors, arranging invitation details and our timeline. She kept our payments on schedule and helped me get all the planning tasks done in a reasonable timeline. On the day, she showed up with an assistant and never sat down. They handled literally everything and the day went so smooth. My parents and grandparents were checked in on, my dress change was helped with, she brought me food and water when I didn't ask. Hiring Emily was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. We were hesitant at first about hiring a day of coordinator as we thought we had it handled and we had family members that had offered to take care of random jobs day of; however, after our first informal meeting with Emily to discuss what The Best Day Details had to offer, we were 100% sold on the idea of a day of coordinator. Emily described her services and everything that she had to offer during that meeting, but the one thing that stuck out the most when we expressed our hesitance on the need of a coordinator is how she described the day of coordinator as like a doula in the labor and delivery process. Someone you don’t HAVE to hire, but someone who is there for YOU and your wishes and plans when you may not be in the most ideal scenario to do so yourself. After this analogy, we were no longer debating on the decision to hire a coordinator and we knew Emily was the answer. She is BEYOND organized, efficient, an excellent leader, and communicator. She was on top of everything! She took a lot of the stress out on the week of the wedding by contacting all of the vendors and confirming all the little details. She even went above and beyond for us when we met the week of the wedding and we had mentioned we were not getting the best vibe from our DJ company. Our DJ and music was one of the most important pieces for us when we were planning our wedding because of how big a role music plays in our lives. We had spent a great deal of time researching DJs, reading reviews, getting personal recommendations, and had booked a specific DJ a year in advance. But all of this was out the window when our company switched our DJ and did not inform us that our original had left months prior until we called to confirm the week before our wedding. Emily could tell we were frustrated by this but we thought there was nothing we could do. She did not accept this and stated she was going to call our DJ company. The very next day, she called me saying she was able to break our contract with our original DJ and hire a new one THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. Not only did she hire a brand new DJ the week of, she hired a FANTASTIC DJ and for the same if not better price. I don’t think I would have trusted anyone else to make a major decision like this for us. Day of, Emily was the kindest, most affirmative, attentive, and quite literally hero of the day. She was able to be assertive in making sure our plans and details were carried out to the fullest and family members or acts of God were not going to intervene. She was able to think on the fly and redirect when needed. She has contingency plans ready for if something doesn’t go right. She made everything run smoothly (even when things weren’t going exactly 100% as planned and I wholeheartedly believe we would not be married today if it weren’t for the organization and expertise of Emily. She has a fantastic personality and attitude that is perfect for the role of handling stressed out brides and I am not joking when I think of just how grateful we are that we had Emily be a part of our big day on a daily basis. We are forever thankful for Emily and the dedication she puts into her brides and business with The Best Day Details.

There are not enough words to express how awesome Amber and her team were not only on our wedding day but leading up to it as well. She is incredibly fast in her response times to emails and texts. She was so supportive through all the stress in planning and helping us narrow down ideas and work in personal touches. She touched base with us so frequently and did pretty much all the behind the scenes communication with all our vendors. The title says it all... Emily is IN-CRED-I-BLE!!! We worked with Emily for well over a year on our wedding and she handled anything and everything that we needed help with. Whether it was finding vendors/venues and contacting them, handling paperwork, setting up calls, tours, etc., Emily put our mind at ease with it and took care of it. She's also incredibly personable and fun to talk to! By the time our wedding came, it was bittersweet because we had looked forward to our weekly calls with her! On the day of our wedding Emily was a superhero..... She helped set things up, make sure everything ran smoothly, helped tear down at the end of the night, and packed our car with decorations and things we had brought for us so we had nothing to worry about. We HIGHLY highly highly (I'll say again) HIGHLY recommend hiring Emily for ANY event, but definitely hire her if you're getting married!! I cannot say enough great things about working with Jaime! She truly made the stressful experience so easy. Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya. My husband and I agree that hiring Ohana and being able to work with Sonya was the best investment we would do all over again, and we recommend them to everyone. I wish I had hired Sonya sooner! Best wedding coordinator of all time. It is true, Ohana means family, and that is exactly how the team treats you.

I cannot say enough nice things about Lindsey! She is unbelievably talented, and I'm so grateful that we got to work with her. She's very sweet and easy to communicate with and fast to respond. She's full of helpful suggestions and ideas, from timeline development to how to DIY a bar setup. She helped me order wholesale flowers for my DIY centerpieces, and they turned out beautifully! She even took on the role of SUPERWOMAN and fixed my bridal bouquet when our florist used the wrong color of roses in my bouquet. She literally took it apart and rebuilt it the day of the wedding, and nobody could tell anything had ever been wrong. She saved the day, and then she proceeded to decorate an arch BY HERSELF, and it all turned out beautifully. Throughout the day, she flawlessly directed all of our vendors. She made sure we had food and drink waiting at our couple's table after photos. She checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. She helped bustle my dress. Honestly our wedding day would not have gone off as wonderfully as it did without Alicia. She was fantastic with the prep work and getting in touch with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same schedule, and she set everything up beautifully day of. But seriously, Alicia was a life saver. The seating chart was left at home, a half hour from the venue. Alicia dropped everything to run back to the house to get it, and was back in time to finish setting up. That's only one of the ways Alicia saved the day. I was able to be as stress free as possible and enjoy the day! I'd highly recommend her to any bride or groom.
