The historic Murphey School auditorium is the home of Raleigh's innovative Burning Coal Theatre Company. In 1960, the auditorium was the site of the vote to desegregate the City School System, so it is one of the most important and historic rooms in the city.

The restored Historic Melrose Knitting Mill is a three-story brick mill, nestled in downtown Raleigh. After opening one of Downtown Raleigh’s most vibrant restaurants on the ground level, creative director Samad Hachby renovated the third-story space to accommodate the larger weddings, special events, and parties that his restaurant was being sought after to host.
