“First things first, Blenheim is an absolutely magical wedding venue and the staff provides an unparalleled experience! It is an incredible value and we still can't stop grinning about our special day, but also how easy the Blenheim team made things for us in planning. Seriously, we feel so lucky and grateful about how much Blenheim does for you, we were able to enjoy ourselves without stress leading up to the day and stay in the moment the day of. We received so many compliments about how our wedding was one of the best folks have ever been to, and we owe that in large part to the Blenheim team and venue! We live in California and selected Blenheim without ever having visited the farm - it was actually quite an easy decision and the pictures don't even begin to describe how beautiful the property is. It did help that my parents visited in the winter and were greeted warmly by Chef Paul, and that my wife's parents visited Min and Morton in their restaurant in NYC and hit it off. Everything about the Blenheim owners, staff, food, experience, logistics, property, farmhouse was first class and supremely professional, but also fun. The food tasting was such a special time leading up to the event and so much fun, and Min's and Chef's flexibility to accommodate some of our dietary preferences was very much appreciated. I even got to swap in sherry in my "his" cocktail! :) The food was top notch, there is no need for much additional decoration as the barn and property are stunning themselves, the farmhouse is a great place for the families to stay (we stayed there and also hosted a workout of about 50 of our guests the morning of the wedding by the lake!), and the animals added to the atmosphere we were hoping for. I would also say to get the add-ons as they are very reasonably priced and thoughtfully curated - we added a bunch of those special touches to our day like the bonfire and lawn games. Special thanks to Carol and Laura for all of the planning help, Danyelle and Fredrik who were rockstar captains for us the night before and day of, and to Min and Morton for creating such a special setting and team, providing world class hospitality, and being such hands on proprietors ensuring satisfaction at every step of the way. If there is a date at Blenheim open, you should snag it ASAP!”

“Words cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Mountainville Manor is. We got married there November of this year (2020) and we’ve been planning with them since the summer. Every step of the way Lauren and James have been so helpful. They try to accommodate every part of your dream wedding. You can’t beat their all inclusive microwedding packages! So much is included leaving you with much less to plan and much less stress! The food is amazing and the chef will accommodate your food allergies and preferences. (My husband still talks about how amazing the salmon was.) The chef even made a delicious special vegan dish for me for the big day. The cake was beautiful and tasty. The Ruins at Sassafras Museum is the home of the former Shaker Second Family settlement, one of five Shaker settlements in The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village in New Lebanon, New York. We call ourselves a boutique museum because unlike other Shaker Museums that replicate the past, we have interpreted the past and creatively restored each location on the property. You can tour the last standing Shaker Chair Factory, explore the ruins of the Sister's Workshop, Cow Barn, and Hay Ramp, hike to the cemetery where 173 Shakers are buried, and enjoy the beauty of our gardens, waterfall, stream and pond.

“The Ruins at Sassafrass Choosing The Ruins at Sassafrass as our wedding venue was a decision that exceeded our wildest dreams. I could write pages about all the amazing things that this venue boasts, but I will highlight the points that future brides should understand when they go to book The Ruins. Being a DIY bride, the Ruins at Sassafrass provided the enchanting backdrop to bring my Pinterest board dreams to life. The rustic charm and natural beauty of the venue complemented my vision perfectly, creating a magical setting for our special day. The flexibility of the space allowed me to add personal touches, turning it into a unique and unforgettable experience. Even in late October the landscape of the mountains in the distance were breathtaking; our guests are still talking about how mesmerizing the views were. When we did our initial tour, the venue was still in its beginning stages of completion; even then we were captivated by the potential and the unique charm it promised. Her vision and commitment assured us that the venue would be the perfect location for our special day, and it absolutely was! Despite the venue's newness and the inevitable growing pains, Carol, Lara (the on site coordinator), Jerome (Carol’s partner in life and business), and the rest of the team made sure our decision to trust them from the beginning was more than worthwhile. Despite some last minute hiccups, what truly stood out was Carol, Jerome, and Lara’s commitment to addressing these challenges in real-time. Their proactive approach and dedication to ensuring our day was perfect more than made up for any set backs in the planning process. This was a HUGE relief when planning such a momentous event. On our actual wedding day, when challenges arose with our day-of coordinator (that we hired separately and was not affiliated with The Ruins), Lara stepped in as our saving grace. Her quick thinking, attention to detail, and unwavering professionalism turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and unforgettable celebration. Her ability to coordinate with our vendors and recalibrate the timeline on the spot showcased her experience and dedication. Without Lara's intervention, the day could have taken a different turn, and we are immensely grateful for her expertise and her willingness to step up and save the day. Her creative touch also helped transform the venue into a dreamlike setting, exceeding our expectations.
