The La Cañada Thursday Club is a beautiful, historic gem of a property located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge. Built in 1926, our facility has been the setting for hundreds of wedding celebrations, birthday and anniversary parties, celebration of life events, corporate events, and more. The clubhouse includes a ballroom with an elevated stage, tea room, bridal suite, and kitchen. The outdoor courtyard is a private walled area with arched wrought iron gates, large fountain, majestic oak tree, and mature garden. Our venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot.

The Maxwell House is an Historic Landmark & Special Event Space located in the heart of Old-Town Pasadena. Full of unique, historic charm, it is a venue built for making memories! We offer a variety of wedding and special event packages, perfect for any of life’s celebrations! Event rentals include access to the entire first floor, including the main ballroom, grand staircase, sweeping foyer, large dining room, library, full kitchen, and two outdoor patios, in addition to the upstairs mezzanines and wedding suite. Included in our packages is the use of our inhouse equipment such as tables and chairs, artisan crafted wooden wedding arch, dance floor, sound system, bar, outdoor string lighting, complimentary parking, and more!

We only have one event a day, providing you exclusive use of the property. The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden was created by Kinzuchi Fujii between 1935 – 1940 for Charles and Ellamae Storrier Stearns. The garden offers numerous possibilities, within a uniquely designed, two acre property. Originally part of a larger private estate, the garden retains its ambiance of secluded serenity. An authentic teahouse is a highlight of the garden, romantically situated overlooking a quiet pond. Winding paths lead to various gathering points and vistas, under spreading sycamores and old oaks.
