Seventh Place is an urban warehouse venue available for an array of events, weddings, parties, concerts, film and commercial productions, and large-scale exhibitions. It offers a unique, eclectic charm in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown, Los Angeles. A growing artistic and cultured community surrounds it, just steps away from Little Tokyo, Japanese Village, and Southern California Institute of Architecture. This impressive, seventy-five year old, urban interior space consists of bow truss 14 ft. high ceilings, vintage architecture with exposed brick, large windows, and skylights.

    Seventh Place was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! The indoor and outdoor spaces were both gorgeous, everyone who worked there was extremely accommodating (even coming in when they were closed for additional venue walk throughs) (special shoutout to Lorraine!), and they allowed us to fully customize our event to bring our dream wedding to life. TLDR: It is the perfect venue!

    After a number of visits to potential wedding venues that just didn't feel right, my wife and I felt like a miracle had happened when we found Seventh Place. Seventh Place is a venue where you can truly execute your own vision, whatever it may be, while the space still brings a quality and characteristic that feels so unique to wedding venues. Having moved to Los Angeles from New York City, my wife and I were hoping to bring a bit of that Brooklyn energy to our wedding day, and the lovely brick interior and beautiful courtyard here absolutely helped deliver that. The space (and staff) was so flexible that it was easy to achieve exactly what we imagined for the big day, and our point person Lorraine was extremely helpful and communicative in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. The interior is beautiful, with enough space for us to host 150 guests at large family-style tables (the wooden tables Seventh Place has are very very nice), and still have more than enough room for dancing and a cozy and comfy lounge area. Besides being the perfect setting for our ceremony, we hosted the dessert table and some more seating and cocktail tables outside in the courtyard, which has a lot of greenery all around and plenty of shade, making it easy to forget you are in DTLA. The hedge wall outside on the street also served as a great backdrop for our family photos (we put down some turf on the street). We are both so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, and the setting was a major factor in the success of the day. Seventh Place was an exceptional (and very well-priced!) venue with a wonderful team who made the process very easy for us. They also host a great preferred vendor open house which was a big help in wrapping our heads around the wedding planning process, and seeing the space in action! We can happily and confidently recommend Seventh Place as a venue for your big events!

    We were so grateful to find an affordable venue in DTLA that had an exterior space for a ceremony interior space for wedding event. The bonus was that the space came with rustic farm tables, chairs, basic lighting & string lights, bar, and pipe and drape. After looking for months - nowhere else in the city offered the value and the wow-factor that Seventh Place did. The staff was attentive, detailed, and thoughtful. Highly recommend to attended one of their open houses, or see if you can take a tour while an event is being setup, that way you can see the space in use. The staff provided sample floor plans for researching how best to use the layout effectively. Things to consider: no kitchen, but if your caterer can prep/heat elsewhere, a buffet style or cooked outside on mobile kitchen worked perfectly. The greenery/ivy is breathtaking on camera - but beware, certain times of year the ivy drips/rains droplets of sticky sap. Not an issue but be mindful of dresses/suits standing beneath it. Parking was easy, load in/out was very easy as well. The space was turn-key, with everything setup as requested when we arrived.

    Seventh Place was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were always available when I had questions and concerns, and made the planning process so easy. The space was absolutely gorgeous when I first saw it - I knew this was where our wedding needed to be. On the day of, they made sure everything was set up perfectly and provided such a fun atmosphere for our guests. The team at Seventh Place contributed so much to making our special day truly memorable.
