“Maria was so fantastic!! My husband and I decided to do a last minute pandemic micro wedding, with just our immediate family and close friends present. Of course, finding any vendors, especially a photographer, last minute is a challenge. Luckily, Maria was recommended to me, and I couldn't have been happier with anyone else! Her style of photography and editing was exactly what I was hoping for! Getting to know her over the phone, and working out a schedule for the day of the wedding was a breeze. “My husband and I are SO HAPPY we went with M. Studios for our wedding! We adore Melissa and Marisa. They are an incredible team, their pictures are literally perfect, and you will feel like you have friends showing up to take your pictures on your wedding day. First let's rewind all the way to our engagement photos (which I highly recommend doing) - my husband and I are from TX but were living in Rhode Island for 3 months. We really wanted our engagement photos in RI, not TX, but were seriously running out of time due to waiting weeks for some photographers we were talking to to respond. Others were being flaky about scheduling an actual date for the photos with us. Enter M. Studios and they promptly got on a call with us and fit us into their busy schedule, we took our photos a few days before we left the state and they were beautiful. I know that's not easy during the summer wedding season. They communicated well with us when we were home in Texas and I listened to their podcast, haha so I felt like I really got to know them! When they came in on the wedding day, I was so comforted to see familiar faces and knew they would do a great job. My husband and I were just happily enjoying our wedding day and kind of oblivious to what was going on around us, but looking back at all the videos we have you can see Melissa and Marisa always in the perfect position to get those great shots on the dance floor. We laugh about it because we weren't looking to see what photos they were getting at the time, but looking back they were always sneakily getting the great shots! We're so excited to get our pictures and know they will be amazing! They posted a few right away and we have been looking at those on repeat, there's not a single photo we don't love. Oh, and we went over a little on our time (I had no idea what time it was at any point - no phone, no watch) and our videographers packed up and left but M. Studios stayed to take photos of our exit and had a great attitude about that! As a bride, I feel like it's so important to relax and enjoy your day, and trust your vendors. With M. Studios you can rest easy knowing that they will do an amazing job for you. In the sea of all the wedding decisions you're faced with, this one is a no-brainer. Since I was a young girl I have loved art. Drawing, painting, taking photos with my grandma's disposable cameras. Fast forward twenty years later, I'm still that same girl with the same passion. I picked up my first professional camera a little over four years ago and haven't looked back since. After my son was born I realized how important and fast life moments go by and I didn't want to forget a single one! So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?”

“Holly was immediately responsive & answered all our questions in detail. She was incredible at our engagement shoot & had even looked up several nearby parks to choose from, & looked at great locations within the 1 we chose to shoot our engagement photos. I was able to change outfits & my fiance/now husband & I felt totally comfortable despite it being our 1st time having professional photography focused on us with her down to earth & direct communication style. Our photos turned out gorgeous & classic. On our wedding day, we had a lot of unexpected things happen like wind & rain at our outdoor ceremony & photography session, but she handled it all with grace & got our photos done beautifully & timely with our wedding party & immediate family as we wanted. We did some outdoor portrait photos & got some adorable ones inside our bridal suite.
