About Citylux Studios
Citylux Studios
We are CityLux Studios - a husband + wife founded photography team. Boston is our home but we love to travel and can often be found in New York, Newport and Florida. We photograph a variety of portrait sessions from marriage proposals to weddings, elopements and boudoir. Sarah's passion for raw emotion + Peter's strong attention to detail blend to make an unmatched experience for each client. It's so important that we make each of our couples feel confident, comfortable and completely at ease.
Our team is small + intimate. We are professional and mature with a dash of humor. We take our small business seriously; it is how we earn a living. We sort of fell into photography after other careers. Quickly falling in love with it, we knew we wanted to make our wedding photography business the best it could be. We are always looking to grow not only our business but also enhance our skills behind the camera.

The Best of the Best!!!
I can't express enough how incredible Sarah and Peter at CityLux Studios are. Finding the right photographer was honestly one of the most overwhelming tasks during my wedding planning process. I wanted every moment of our day captured perfectly, and I can genuinely say CityLux Studios exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I started my search, they were the very first photographers I reached out to, and I knew from that first conversation they were the right choice. Sarah made such an impact on me from the very first phone call. She was incredibly personable, helpful, and immediately grasped the vision I had for our wedding. We worked together seamlessly from our engagement shoot, to our rehearsal, and then of course, the wedding itself. Every single photo turned out better than I ever imagined. Their photography style is absolutely stunning—elegant, timeless, and perfectly tailored to capture exactly what you want. They’re not only skilled but also intuitive, knowing just how to bring your vision to life. As a Type A bride with tons of questions, detailed vision boards, and a lot of ideas, I was a little anxious about making sure everything went smoothly. But Sarah was with me every step of the way, always available to make sure we were aligned and on the same page. Choosing to work with CityLux Studios was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. They truly made the entire weekend feel special, and the photos are nothing short of breathtaking. Choosing CityLux for our photography and videography was by far one of the BEST decisions we made when planning our wedding. Sarah and Peter have a way of making you feel like you're their only client, and bring such a fun and light energy to every interaction. Not only are they extremely cool people, they are absolute pros at what they do. Communication throughout the planning process was completely smooth, they were totally professional at our wedding, and ended up producing the BEST wedding photos I have ever seen (and I'm not just saying that because it was my own wedding). Every photo is truly a work of art, and my husband and I could not be happier that we have them to look back on for the rest of our lives.
