Simply Spun began as a passion project during the pandemic when my sister and I wanted to bring delicious, homemade desserts to people’s doorsteps. What started as a creative outlet quickly became my full-time calling after I graduated from San Diego State with a degree in nutrition and food science. Now, weddings have become our favorite part of the business! Whether it’s crafting a stunning wedding cake or curating a personalized dessert table, we love bringing each couple’s vision to life.

Soon after completing the school courses, my mother then took the next step and began to sell her cake slices. After school, we would come home to find my mother and her half sheet plastic containers full of cake slices ready for sale.
