    We contracted with Cute Cakes for our wedding cake via our venue, as it came as part of our wedding package. Originally, the contract was with another bakery but that bakery closed before our wedding and all contracts were moved to Cute Cakes, which may have contributed to how busy they are! In summary, the cakes and desserts are delicious and beautiful, but the communication with them was really difficult and was one of the more stressful parts of planning our wedding. I contacted Cute Cakes via email to schedule our tasting, since our venue was not yet listed on their online intake form, and they helped us to schedule an in-person tasting in the bakery (we wanted the full experience!). The tasting experience was great, we got to try quite a few things and when one of the options I wanted to taste wasn’t available on our tasting board, they made sure to get me a cupcake of it so I could taste it (and that ended up being the cake flavor we chose!). They were super accommodating and helpful at this point in our process. I followed up a couple weeks after our tasting to see what the next steps for finalizing our order would be. We were a few months out from our wedding still, so it wasn’t a rush, and when I got an auto-email saying that they were very busy and would get back to me within a week, I was patient and waited. I followed up a few weeks later, after not hearing back, and finally got a response to schedule the phone consultation to place my order. We scheduled it, and nobody called me. I emailed again, they apologized, rescheduled, and still nobody called me, despite confirming via email that THEY would call me. I called the bakery and finally got to talk to somebody (who was very sweet and helpful!) to get my order started. I was getting nervous that our order would get lost in the shuffle of how busy they were. Once we aligned on the direction of our desserts (a smaller cake and then several bite sized desserts), they sent me an invoice to cover the extra charges (fresh fruit, the small desserts, etc.) which was a reasonable price that I was happy with. They told me we would fully finalize the order once we had the final guest count closer to the wedding date, which made sense to me. Once we got towards that point and we had to finalize details, I could never get an email response from them. I would email several times and nobody would respond unless my wedding planner called them to request a response to my questions. It was quite frustrating and stressful – I was concerned about their reliability. I didn’t feel like I should have to call them to get answers, especially when it was in response to their email with photos of frosting styles to choose from, etc. Ultimately, everything turned out just fine! The cake and desserts were perfect and DELICIOUS. I wish it hadn’t been so painful to communicate with them, otherwise I’d give 5 stars.

    We were thrilled with Cute Cakes Bakery Cafe for our wedding! They were so easy to work with and really took the time to understand our vintage theme vision. Once we had our initial planning call, they handled everything seamlessly from there - I honestly didn't have to worry about the cake at all. They perfectly executed the elegant multi-tiered cake we envisioned. The cake was not only gorgeous but absolutely delicious! Their attention to detail with the intricate piping and handmade sugar flowers was exceptional. We felt they offered tremendous quality and value. It was clear they are passionate about their craft and care deeply about contributing to couples' special days. We will definitely be back to order a mini version of our cake for our one year anniversary!

    Cute Cakes Bakery Cafe was a joy to work with for our wedding cake. From our very first meeting, the baker communicated clearly and helped us nail down the perfect cake design. Over the months leading up to our big day, they continued to be responsive in ironing out specifics on flavors, decorations, etc. When the cake was unveiled at our reception, we were blown away - it was insanely delicious and looked even better than we envisioned. We couldn't recommend Cute Cakes highly enough for any couple looking for a bakery that produces gorgeous, tasty cakes and provides helpful, personable service every step of the way.
