Welcome. Flour Child Baking Company is a fully custom special event dessert caterer. We specialize in crafting custom dessert tables. Our goal is to represent who you are as a couple in the sweetest way possible. Choose from a selection of our most popular desserts or work with us to bring the dessert table of your dreams to life. Every detail matters to us down to color matching and decor. The owner, Jessica, has been a pastry chef throughout San Diego working at some of the most notable restaurants, cafes and bakeries for over 10 years. Each couple works directly with Jessica to create a magical experience for you and your guests.

We strive to craft a fully customized experience. We work directly with you or your wedding coordinator to color match your desserts, create beautiful, rustic wedding cakes and love to be on sight setting up day of. We also can work with your florist to be sure your table decor and special accents mix beautifully with your overall design. We do not currently require minimums so we can be as flexible as possible during this challenging time in planning events. We want to be sure that if your wedding is small party for 5 or 500 it can be as special as possible

    I started purchasing from FCBC through their rotating weekly menus, and everything was so delicious that I couldn’t think of anyone better to cater desserts at my wedding than Jess. Jess puts love and grit into everything she creates and it comes across beautifully. She even sourced some beautiful dessert table decorations to go with our vibe. All of our guests took to-go boxes home with her desserts because we didn’t want to waste even the tiniest bit! Hands down the best you’ll find.

    We loved working with Jess! She was so patient with us and guided us so well when it came to our tastings and quantities. Everything was delicious. Her cornbread was not dry at all and had great flavor. I couldn’t get enough of the macaron cookies either. The donuts were also delicious, we did a few different flavors. I’m not a big donut person but hers were incredible, so yummy without being heavy or overly sweet or that artificial sweet taste most donuts have. I highly recommend going with her, I will absolutely use her again and recommend her to other people I know too!

    We used Flour Child as our dessert vendor for our wedding. Jessica is so nice and easy to work with. So many good things to point out. The food is AMAZING and pretty affordable. She always responded quickly. She made planning super simple. I appreciated all of those qualities, but I think what I loved the most is that on my wedding day, she executed the setup seamlessly. I had to deal with a few hiccups that day and to not have to worry about that makes me so grateful! And to help Jessica with her small business makes it even more worth it.
