Welcome. The story behind The Sweet Sicilian Bakery: Well first off, I love baking and creating beautiful art, but beyond that, this bakery is near and dear to my heart. This love may have started with my Dad's bakery we had growing up, Salvatore's Bread and Pizza Bakery. He made fresh Italian bread for many restaurants in our town! Also growing up in a large Sicilian family was something that was so special, there were so many gatherings and events happening all the time ( oh, and Sunday dinner at my Nonna's house every week, yum!) There was a lot of love, laughs, and FOOD! The most special and delicious treats were the Italian cookies!

Christina not only makes absolutely delicious desserts, from cookies, to cakes to tarts but her desserts are truly works of art! Her desserts are clearly made with a lot of heart and love! The level of detail in her design is so amazing that her flowers look so real it's hard to believe they are not. I love referring my clients to Christina and cannot recommend her high enough! DJ Conner was absolutely amazing and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the dancing music and all the music played throughout the evening. He listened to our music needs, which were not the clearest at times, but nonetheless he came up with a great playlist that fit the diverse age range and what we were envisioning. It seemed that all the guests were dancing on the dance floor at some point in the evening. Just recently a guest from the wedding reached out commenting how Conner was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard. Conner brings a cool, sophisticated vibe that is truly great for all age demographics. Additionally, Conner was super professional, on time, and had state of the art sound equipment. He also did an incredible job micing the night and keeping the pace. The fact that I didn't want the night to end speaks volumes to how much I enjoyed our wedding and a big part of that was the music. Hiring the right DJ is one of the best wedding decisions we made and was also way more cost effective than a live band. To wrap this up, we are so thankful Conner decided to take his DJ talents to the wedding industry. I am sure his business will take off. Sound Prodigy and DJ Pat was awesome to work. The app he had us use to add music to so he could get a feel for what we like was very easy to use. He’s clearly very experienced and knew how to get the crowd energized and keep the dance floor packed all night. Their intuitive sense of the vibe and flow of the evening was spot on, and they kept the music going seamlessly through all the key moments. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our wedding celebration so memorable. We also booked a photo bus through him and I highly recommend that. Our guests had a great time taking pictures and you get both physical and digital copies and we had so much fun looking through everyone’s photos after the wedding. Highly recommend!

I am so incredibly lucky to have found SD Wedding Films. I grew up watching home movies, and while I absolutely love a well-crafted video, I also wanted the raw footage of the wedding—the small comments, the cute little guest moments, and the reaction shots. And Jacob delivered. We got the Highlights Package which was perfect for us. We got 2 1/2 hours of b-roll, with all the little moments I was looking for, as well as the full moments I needed (the full ceremony, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc.) Most videographers would charge even more just to give you the full footage of these moments, but Jacob includes them in the packages, which means the world and is an incredible value. We also got an AMAZING highlight reel. The pacing, shots, and chosen music perfectly captured the feel of our wedding. Jacob even found the small details and integrated them into the video. For example, one of our table numbers was about how many ballroom dances we learned together, and he showed that table number, then cut to us doing our first dance. It was a little thing that just made the video more unique and catered to us. And I need to mention that this video was delivered to us less than 24 hours after our wedding!! I was honestly at a loss for words. Lastly, I want to say that Jacob was a delight on the day of the wedding—his shots and directions were so clear and carefully constructed. His creativity for the shots even informed some of our favorite photos from our photographer. I cannot recommend SD Wedding Films more and I would book them again in a heartbeat.

I got married here at the beginning of June and it was the best day of my life and Forgotten Barrel definitely made it an amazing day. When I first came here to tour the place, Alyssa made me feel like a bride and not just another person looking for a venue. She was easy to work with and definitely was one of the many selling points of picking this venue for our wedding. The day itself was flawless and all our guests had a great time here. Reveal did an incredible job with my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids and the mothers. I got many compliments on both my hair and makeup. My makeup was especially fabulous and lasted all day and night even through my tears and all the dancing. Bridal hair and makeup was 320. The other girls were 220 for hair and makeup. If you wanted just one service, it was 150. I found these prices to be very reasonable. The girls came to our VRBO the morning of and worked efficiently and were very nice.

Joanne and Jamie were easily one of my favorite vendors for my wedding. I got married April 7, 2024 and had my hair trial on February 3. I found Joanne’s company through one of my Instagram friends, who also got her hair done with them. I was immediately taken with them for two reasons: 1) They had no minimum person requirement 2) they were so so so quick in their email communications (something I found was super rare when looking for hairstylists). Immediately upon visiting for the trial, I knew I was in good hands. They were both so sweet and really took into consideration my preferences, veil & dress, and venue when making suggestions. I felt so comfortable with them (and they even gave me some tea!). On the day of the wedding, Jamie arrived promptly at our getting ready location and was quite efficient and effective in doing my hair. I never was worried that my hair would fall out during the wedding and the fact that I never once thought about my hair all night is a testament to how well it was done. And as I look back on my photos, I constantly look at my hair, impressed by how well it stayed curled and beautiful all day (even as I danced for 2 hours straight). I could never recommend Joanne and Jamie more for your big day.

She encouraged us to make it very personal and unique--she never shot down any weird ideas we might've had but also brought an experienced perspective, while also keeping us on track with all of the little details and scheduling. She was so well-organized and professional while also keeping things stress-free, light, and fun. There were no questions too big, too small, or too personal with all the drama that can come with such a big event. Miranda was easy to reach via text/email, and took the initiative to reach out and schedule check-ins when needed to make sure we stayed on track with the huge to-do list that comes with a wedding. Her vendor recommendations & other suggestions were awesome, but she also respected a couple of the areas where we found our own vendors with no questions asked. She truly helped us get every detail settled, down to the napkins and our catering order details. She took all the stress off once we got to the month of and leading up to the wedding day, confirming with our vendors so we didn't have to worry about it whatsoever. Our wedding day went seamlessly thanks to her--it sounds cliche but it was the most fun and beautiful day ever and we were able to really enjoy it thanks to Miranda. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the SD area! She also helped us with signage for the day-of and did a beautiful job at a super reasonable price.

Neither my husband nor I were very comfortable with having our pictures taken and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed for both our engagement and wedding. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.I chose Carlsbad Photo before I even picked my dress! The grounds offer a natural background of gardens and lush greenery, with the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. As a bonus, they are a short drive away from stunning California beaches and can accommodate requests for off-site ceremonies, including a beach cliff wedding ceremony.

The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.

We did not use The Knott to find this venue but we had such an amazing experience we had to share. The venue itself, the first thing you see is a modern foodhall / full bar with a large variety of restaurants. If youre staying at the hotel connected, it was such a great place to hangout with your bridal parties before everything starts. Moving along to the even areas, the ceremony room gives off a modern barn yard style venue and it's such a pleasant contrast from what you initially see when first walking in which really adds to the "wow" factor when entering the room. The cocktail hour area is amazing as well and after we gifted some of our items, they will now have Cornhole and a beer cart available! The area itself is wide open with great seating areas as well. The reception is another instance where the contrast is such a difference from the food hall downstairs, it once again adds so much to that jsw drop reaction. We were approached multiple times complementing how "cool" this venue was and it was definitely a true compliment. Now the venue wouldn't be anywhere with out the staff and I can not say enough great things about them. The entire time was courteous, professional and really give they sense that they want to make sure you have your special day as one to remember. Specifically wanted to shout out our amazing coordinator - Brianna, banquet captain - Lee j and Dj - Rhy's. These three went above and beyond for us and it seemed like that was just their normal demeanor. Brianna made sure we had nothing to worry about and made every part of the planning process a breeze. Lee J was also always checking in appropriately often to ensure we were never left wanting, thirsty or hungry. Rhy's was also great to work with, we had a very specific request with music which ended up having my wife and I take part in a lightsaber fight to two different versions of starwars music - Duel of the Fates, and he handled it masterfully. All in all, 10/10 can not recommend enough.
