We know what it takes to get a dance-floor moving. Making sure your dream day, is actually a dream days, is what we live for. We treat each wedding each its own, working with each couple to ensure the music compliments the vibe they are envisioning for their wedding. Our process involves close communication and a shared spreadsheet / song sheet template we use to make planning the key songs for the day is a breeze. (Some couples want more control over their playlists, while others just give us a few "must plays" and we can work with wherever you are on the spectrum of influence on your playlist. The LoveTap was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! From our initial inquiry, Connor's communication was prompt and made connecting with him easy. He was incredibly organized, experienced, and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. They were down for any request we had, including my request to have my 93-year-old grandpa play the keyboard during the ceremony, which was a truly memorable moment. An important aspect of a wedding DJ isn't just the music and dancing though, it's someone who can emcee and keep your timeline on track. Connor did an amazing job carrying us from the grand entrance, first dance, into toasts, parent dances, and getting the party started. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Highly recommend The LoveTap to any couple looking to make their wedding unforgettable!

Conner made all of our wedding music dreams come true! We knew he would kill it but man, he far exceeded our expectations!!! Everything was perfect. He was professional and helpful, offering suggestions and guidance as we planned the flow. He understand the vibes we were seeking for our daytime wedding. We are already trying to figure out another party to through just so we can work with Lovetap again.

The LoveTap absolutely crushed it!!! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how fun our wedding reception was because the DJ kept the party going all night! Conner reads the room so he can play music that fits the energy on the dance floor. He is a true DJ who mixes music and doesn’t just hit play on a playlist. Guests from all generations enjoyed the music selection and kept dancing. Before the wedding, Conner met with us to make sure he understood the vibe and music preferences we were looking for. He is super easy-going and made the process a breeze. Also, shoutout to the live saxophonist - that is a must add-on!! Highly recommend The LoveTap!!

On August 3rd, my daughter and son in law were married. I am the mother of the bride and can't say enough about DJ Conner. He had so much energy and did a great job keeping the guests involved and out on the dance floor. The reception went until midnight and so many people were dancing up until the last dance. Conner was right on target keeping to the groom and bride's request of no cheesy songs to be played. I loved that he respected their wishes and kindly pointed out the song I asked for was a bit cheesy and a no go. The saxophonist he hired was so much fun to listen to and watch perform.

YES! I've always taken requests even when playing nightclubs. Why? Because I'm there to make the people in front of me dance, and often times if one person requests it - it's usually what others on the dance floor want to hear. Sometimes, the requests are off the wall, and playing them into what I'm already mixing results in some amazing live moments that create magic when DJing. I love requests! (Although if they are too off the wall, I might not be able to play them... I use discretion)

I only use Shure QLX-D wireless mics. These are top of the line and ensure you will not have any signal interference like most of the cheaper models, AND ensure everyone in attendance will hear your ceremony, vows, speeches etc.

Yes. I carry 2M of General Liability and add venues as the additional insured (as most venues require this).

I have played the top nightclubs in the majority of the major US markets sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest acts. Most wedding DJ's lack this necessary experience required to truly rock a dance floor. I grew up playing guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. I learned to DJ when I went to college and left my bandmates at home. I focused primarily on scratching and learning to use the turntable as an instrument, not just mixing music. The result is a unique ability to actually play the turntables like an instrument, and blend live mashups in ways most DJ's these days simply can't.

I'm a true open format DJ. This means I can play every genre and mix seamlessly between them resulting in a dance floor that never stops moving.

I typically arrive 2 hours before the first guests are expected to arrive. This ensures I have plenty of time to set, soundcheck, and change into my snazzy suit or tux ;)

This is included in my rate. For weddings outside San Diego county I typically charge $250-$400 to cover gas / lodging if needed.

Absolutely! I only use the best equipment to ensure your ceremony is heard by everyone in your audience. I also have the ability to run fully on batteries which makes remote locations easy. (i.e. ceremonies on the beach or underneath a tree where power isn't readily available)

Typically I wear a suit, but for "black tie optional" weddings I wear a black tux with a bow tie ◡̈

Yes! I work with each couple to ensure I have any and all songs that are relevant or important to them and their guests pre-set and ready for the big day!
