I am Dakotah with Kota Video. I started this company with a passion for storytelling and it has grown into something I am incredibly proud of. I love filming weddings and capturing such special moments and the reactions I get from couples makes everything worth it. Kota Video will never farm out your wedding to other unknown shooters. Kota Video is owned and operated by Dakotah Douglas and partners with talented photographers to give you the best possible experience for your special day. I have developed a keen eye for cinematography over nearly 10 years of practice. I know what shots to get and dynamically add new ones for each location I shoot at. I know when and where to be at all times. This shines through in the editing room where it all comes together. We are friendly to couples of all races, ethnicities, gender identity, and sexual preference.

Beautifully captured our wedding day!

We hired Dakotah to capture my daughter's Sweet 16, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! From start to finish, Dakotah was professional, kind, and attentive to every detail. The event included Quinceañera traditions, which added extra complexity, but Dakotah was amazing at capturing all the important moments.
