The grounds offer a natural background of gardens and lush greenery, with the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. As a bonus, they are a short drive away from stunning California beaches and can accommodate requests for off-site ceremonies, including a beach cliff wedding ceremony.

This space features vaulted ceilings complete with delicate drapery across dark wooden beams and crystal chandeliers. Enter through the foyer with room for a bar, a dessert table, or a lounge area. A charming fireplace welcomes you across the way, with a stage to the northwest. Access to the bridal suite, groom's room and guest bathrooms, and kitchen.

Wow! I just had my wedding here a month ago and our family and friends could not have been more blown away! The communication was amazing in this team and everyone was so helpful, efficient, and just a pleasure to work with. Laura was my wedding coordinator and she was the best! We loved our photographer and videographer and worked with Christine from Eco Catering and she was so nice and helpful! We couldn’t have been happier to have gotten married here and to have everyone along the way be apart of our most special day. —Nicole & Josh

Getting married at Secret Garden was the best decision we made! Firstly, the space is gorgeous and intimate. The garden coupled with the reception room almost feels like backyard house wedding. Our guests all raved about the space as well. They only do one wedding a day and despite being on the 'main' road in downtown Rancho Santa Fe, you feel secluded from the outside world. The entire staff is AMAZING. They made the entire planning process super easy and super fun. I can't even tell you the number of requests they accommodated, and they executed everything to absolute perfection on the actual wedding day. I truly didn't worry about a thing in terms of set-up on my wedding day. Finally, the value was incredible. We admit we first got sticker shock when we saw the proposal but it includes SO much - not just coordination/planning, but decor, rentals, a DJ, photobooth, photographer. When you start to compare their proposal vs the cost of hiring everyone separately it immediately becomes clear that Secret Garden is not only a great price, but also reduces headache. All the included vendors were fantastic and the photobooth was so much. The amount of decor they provide saved us so much money as well - we pretty much just needed candles and flowers and they provided almost all of the rest! Plus you can bring your own alcohol which saved a ton of money. We highly recommend putting the Secret Garden at the top of your venue list!

Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. If you're envisioning a fairytale garden wedding like I was, choose this venue!

The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.

We offer off-peak season discounts on our inclusive wedding packages from December 16 through March 16. Inquire for additional discounts!

Yes! We have an on-site parking lot for 30 vehicles, exclusively available for your event. Additional street parking can be found on La Granada and Avenida de Acacias, surrounding our venue.

We happily offer a BYO bar set-up so that you can customize your bar costs and offerings. To do this, we require event insurance with host-liquor liability. Additional rentals for glassware can be added upon request, or if you prefer to work with a bar service vendor we have a preferred list for you to start with!

Your reservation includes up to 9 hours from start to finish, including up to 3 hours of pre-event time in our furnished Bridal Suite and Groom's Room, 1 hour for your ceremony and 5 hours for your reception. Additional time may be available for a fee.

In an effort to maintain your deposit, we do our best to accommodate a postponed event. However, in the event that a cancellation is inevitable, booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible! Our main sidewalk entrance accommodates our guests needing a wheelchair, and our venue features hearing-impaired fire alarm lights and trained staff.

Our peak season starts in March 15 and last through December 15. Additional discounts may be available upon inquiry!

Day-of-wedding/Event Insurance is required at a minimum coverage amount of $1 million dollars, and typically costs somewhere between $100-200 depending on guest count. Further details and specific instructions are available upon through a tour with our booking team!
