We unfortunately had a major family loss 2 months prior to our day, and Alex was there every step of the way offering support personally and professionally, and ensured us that she had everything under control while we spent time with family. Victoria, Danielle and Kyle can solve and will solve absolutely anything that comes up on the big day and all the days leading up. I was a bride on a budget so was unsure if I "needed" a planner. Let me tell you, you do, and you freaking deserve it. No matter how much you plan you WILL need her. Every question, she has the answer and the 4 weeks leading up to your wedding are insane, so the fact that she coordinated all the communication with vendors legit saved my job. Day of, she and her squad showed up with a legit Mary Poppins bag of anything you would need day of. From safety pins to foot numbing spray to q tips. Because all of the reviews of planners on this site are glowing and positive, which makes it hard to choose, let me list out what she did for me as she was actually a super woman planner. 1. On my way to the church I realized I didn't have my veil. I gave her a call, she picked up on the first ring and didn't even bother to ask me where it was all she said was "no problem"! She sped back to venue and retrieved it and made it back to the church right on time. 2. After a sunshine filled week nothing short of an actual cyclone descended on my wedding day. I was determined to make my boardwalk pics happen (despite that legit never being possible). As I looked at my frigid bridesmaids I couldn't hold it in and the full sob occurred. We relocated into the venue and I was shocked to find my venue 100% set up 2 hours early and it looked absolutely stunning. Victoria had foreseen this inevitability and saved my day. 3. Oh and about the full sob, she was there with a large glass of Chardonnay, the perfect shade of Dior lip gloss and a beauty blender to patch me back together after. 4. The entire day went on exactly as planned per the timeline bc she was there! Ladies, your not going to be wearing your Apple Watch on your wedding day and you are going to be so emotional you don't deserve to be thinking about what's next. 5. We forgot my MIL favorite bottle of wine at my dads house, Danielle zoomed to his house, got in using a hidden key, retrieved it and showed up and handed it to me drenched from the rain. 6. After my wedding day when I felt guilty for having social anxiety the day of she was so supportive and honest in telling me all my feelings were 100% normal and don't trust everything you see on instagram (many brides are unprepared for 300 eyes on them). Last thing, unlike some NJ planners that only do weddings over 100k, she isn't like that AT ALL. The best planners can work with any budget, and Victoria is actually THE BEST.

My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. Hiring Dhalia Events was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. I am skeptical of the wedding industry in general, but I am convinced that wedding coordinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience? Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of: 1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand. 2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick. 3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out. 4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine. 5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert). 6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception. 7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside. 8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes. 9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later. All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED. I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person. Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.

Abiola and her team at ABIBI Bridal were nothing short of phenomenal! As a type-A person, I tend to get anxious about the details, but Dacia worked her magic to keep me calm, stress-free, and fully present throughout the day. And Francis—wow, what can I say? Despite how stressful the wedding planning process can be, she helped us iron out all the details and we left every meeting with her feeling more excited and prepared for our day. Cynquetta is a gem to work with! My husband and I found Cynquetta through a bridal expo in Philly after having to fire our previous wedding planner. I truly wish we had found Cynquetta first because she would have certainly been the wedding planner for the entire wedding. From the moment I met her at the expo I knew she would be the right fit. Her booth was beautifully decorated, and she exuded a kind, honest, and professional spirit. Throughout the planning process, Cynquetta was everything I dreamed and imagined a wedding planner to be. She was organized, timely, and great with communication, and she brought the positive energy that a couple needs to navigate the stresses of wedding planning. Regardless of how stressed (or over it) I was throughout the planning, Cynquetta remained calm and supportive for both me and my husband. For the wedding, we had a 10hr long Tobagonian, Barbadian, Nigerian fusion wedding with 2 ceremonies, multiple outfit changes for our entire families (40 people) and the bridal party in addition to the cocktail hour, reception, and photos. When I tell you Cynquetta helped us execute everything PERFECTLY!!!!?? Honestly, the guests said the wedding was like “a movie” or “a production” and I truly believe it worked out this way largely because of Cynquetta. I am a very meticulous person when it comes to planning, and I think Cynquetta was even more meticulous than me lol. Her spreadsheet to organize the details of the wedding covered everything we could think of and some much of what I wouldn’t have realized needed to be planned out. We met weekly, texted regularly, and emailed frequently to get everything in place for the big day. I could go on and on about how Cynquetta will NOT let you down; but I’ll end with the only bit of critique I had for Cynquetta is that she needs to raise her prices!!!! She’s THAT good! I would have paid double (or more) for the quality of her work and the joy that she allowed me and my husband to experience on our wedding day. Thank you so much Cynquetta! (PS, we've also used Cynquetta after the wedding to plan a 60th bday party for my mum!)
