“It's hard to capture a romance that has lasted well over a decade, but Justin & Steph from American Rose Weddings did just that in the 15+ collective hours we spent with them. During the wedding planning process, securing a videographer was the last vendor we booked. Not because we were dragging our feet, but because we we could not find a videographer who matched our vision. We wanted the day to be remembered in a unique, authentic, timeless, and intimate way, but most of all, we wanted it to feel like "us." We wanted a videographer who could capture the small details that oftentimes go unnoticed during the day, but paint best picture of who the couple is. We didn't someone to just film the day, add orchestra audio, and call it a day. We wanted a unique storytelling experience from start to finish with someone who was a skilled cinematographer. After Skyping with Justin (and him showing me his collection of super8 cameras which was SO cool), I knew that it was a perfect match. We met Justin & Steph in-person during a couples shoot at our home. Immediately, we formed a connection. They were so easy to be around and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I could see the wheels turning in Justin's mind as the camera rolled, and I immediately could tell that Justin & Steph already knew what kind of story we wanted to have told. When the big day arrived, they were a calming presence in a swarm of craziness. After the wedding, we met up with Justin & Steph at a brewery to finish recording reading our letters to each other. This was the moment that reminded my husband and I that not only did we luck out in the wedding vendor department, but we just gained 2 new amazing friends. When we received the sneak peek and full video suite back (very promptly, I might add!), we could not believe what was in front of us. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. It was unlike any other wedding film we had seen before. It captured our romance and special day so perfectly. As my mom said, the video looked like a "a true Hollywood film." Working with Justin & Steph was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. When we look back fondly on 7/24/21, they are the reason that we will be able to do so clearly.”

“We found Terrence very early on in our wedding process. His gallery had some of the most beautiful photos we had ever seen; some were dramatic, which is what my husband loves, others were soft, warm, and candid, which were my favorites. To find a photographer that could fit both of our styles was so exciting. Terrence’s package was over our budget, in part because we were marrying in NY, so would have to pay a travel fee. I was convinced I could find someone within budget. I searched and agonized for an additional two months. Finally, my now-husband convinced me that the photos would be the one thing from the day we would get to keep forever and we sprang for Terrence and let me tell you, both of us have agreed the extra cost was more then justified. In high heat and humidity and looming storms, Terrence did everything he could to keep us on-schedule and to get incredible photos at a venue he had never even been to. We just received our sneak peak gallery and all of us are in awe of the photos he captured. “Meghan was an actual blessing on our wedding. We got married in Maine and I had previously found someone more local to do my hair. To say that initial test with the other person was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have very thin hair and as such bought extensions. The other person said she couldn't use all of them, and the ones she did use pulled on my hair and scalp in such a painful way that I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or so and the style looked thin and fried. Their communication was efficient and responsive throughout the planning process, which helped make organizing a wedding much less stressful. The venue itself is versatile and beautiful, with an indoor space for the reception and ceremony as well as a lovely outdoor area overlooking the lake that was perfect for photos. “Kelli catered to us for our June 2024 wedding. The team flowed so effortlessly together between hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts. Our cake was AMAZING! Such a unique flavor: blueberry lemon lavender. They provided us with buffet style—honey glazed salmon, chicken cutlets, string beans, and a salad with this phenomenal home made dressing!!! Favorite dessert was the mini cheesecake bites. The rustic decor and naked styled cake was exactly our vision. Kelli was very attentive to our needs from checking in while I was getting ready and providing drinks and hors d’oeuvres and guiding us through the transitions of the wedding. We got rain towards the end of the evening and the team did such a good job covering and moving tables and decor around. We didn’t have to lift a finger. They cleaned up fast at the end too. Kelli’s kitchen is the quickest yet most organized catering service we’ve ever had! Thank you Kelli and team for making our night so special and tasteful!”

Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. “We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved.
