My name is Taylor — I’m a husband, father, teacher, ocean lover, and videographer / editor based out of CT and Cape Cod. I’ve been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember, and deep down I’ve always felt that capturing moments was in some way my calling. A few years ago I began to realize that photographs — even the most compelling ones — are not able to tell an entire story. They provide a powerful glimpse, frozen in time, but even the best photographs are unable to preserve memories and emotions the way that films can.

I am genuinely moved by the love stories I am there to capture, and during the editing process I do everything in my power to recreate those exact same emotions that I felt on your wedding day. In the dozens of hours I spend editing each film, I literally hear pieces of your vows and the speeches of those closest to you hundreds of times. By the end of this process I feel this really personal connection to my clients. It’s a strange thing that happens, but as I become emotionally invested in your love story, I believe it shines through in my films.

We cannot recommend Taylor and True Colors Productions enough. We knew we had to have a videographer to capture all the elements of the wedding a photographer cannot, and he did that better than we imagined. His short video done to music seemed like an actual movie production, we were blown away. Our venue didn't allow drown footage, and yet he still was able to capture it near our church to ensure it was still tied into the full feature film. And importantly as well, at all times he was professional, on time, great to work with, and a pleasure to be around. We would higher TCP again in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough great things about Taylor! I knew from our initial call that I wanted him on our vendor team and I couldn't be happier with my decision! His films capture the elegant and timeless vibes I was hoping for and he was an absolute joy to plan and work with. Taylor and my photographer blended seamlessly and teamed up on the big day to work their magic. Our social media reel is my favorite thing to watch now and we're so excited to see the final product! Taylor is truly gifted and I would highly recommend him to any bride!

We've worked with Taylor many times and not only is he a true professional, he creates stunning wedding films. As photographers it can sometimes be stressful to have a videographer working with us. With Taylor that is never an issue as he is there to document your day and get the best footage possible. He is a creative and thoughtful collaborator who knows how to get the shots he needs for the couple while working with fellow vendors to make the day go as smoothly as possible. We always look forward to working with him and we recommend him any chance we get.

I was so lucky that my now husband’s sister had Taylor at her wedding 4 years ago. We knew how beautiful Taylor’s work was because we would all be in tears whenever we gathered to watch the mini film each year around their anniversary! We knew we had to reach out to Taylor for our big day. Taylor posted 2 sneak peeks for us already and we have replayed those reels so much that I can probably tell you what is going on without looking if I just listen to the music. His work is stunning and Taylor is genuinely such a nice person! I met Taylor for the first time (in person- we had calls and zooms and my husband knew Taylor from his sister’s wedding) but it felt like we knew each other for a while and it was so easy! We thought we would be nervous once cameras were around but I never felt that way! He even missed a personal big event to celebrate our day with us! Taylor, we are so thankful you were there to capture our special day! We can’t wait to see the videos when they are ready! :)
