I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this wedding venue is. From start to finish, they made the whole process easy. They have packages where you can have a huge portion of your wedding included, so you do not have to look for many outside vendors like a baker, photographer, and caterer. Brandi and Meaghan are AMAZING!! We had some minors issues with some of our guests, and they took care of all of it and did not want us to stress on our big day. If you are looking for a wedding venue, SERIOUSLY. LOOK NO FURTHER. You will no regret it :) I love you guys so much and cannot thank you enough!

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

The cultural heart of Baltimore beats loudly at Hotel Indigo® Baltimore Downtown. While there are many things to do in Baltimore, there are also a great number of discoveries to make right here in our hotel. Sip on some of the best craft cocktails in our hotel restaurant, Poets Modern Cocktails & Eats. Westminster Hall and Burying Ground

4.5

Baltimore, MD
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $3,000

People travel far and wide to visit historic Westminster Hall, the Burying Grounds and Catacombs. Guests have the opportunity to explore one of Baltimore’s oldest cemeteries which contains tombs of prominent political, military and business leaders, and the grave of Edgar Allan Poe! Westminster Hall, formerly a Presbyterian church has a unique combination of early Gothic Revival appearances, mixed with today’s modern conveniences. The restored Gothic church has elegant stained glass windows, carved oak woodwork and an 1882 Johnson pipe organ. People appreciate Westminster's prime location at the corner of Fayette and Greene Streets in downtown Baltimore. Immediately adjacent are the University of Maryland Baltimore, University of Maryland Medical Center, Maryland Bar Center, and Baltimore VA Medical Center. Within walking distance are Oriole Park, M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the Convention Center, and major hotels, retailers and businesses.

When my wife and I were planning our wedding, our initial venue fell through quite suddenly. The folks at Westminster Hall we're immediately sympathetic, prepared, and accommodating, tailoring their already breathtaking space to the specific plans we had in place for an entirely different room. Kind and calm when planning had us most fried, they worked with us to create exactly what we wanted for the day. The history of the space, the ample room, the massive painted organ and surrounding graveyard make Westminster Hall an incredibly special place, operates by smart, responsive, and thoughtful staff.

Baltimore Museum of Industry

Historic. Waterfront. Perfect. Since 1981, guests at the Baltimore Museum of Industry’s waterfront location have enjoyed a breathtaking view of the Inner Harbor. With spaces both indoors and out, separate areas for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, a convenient downtown location, and a free, on-site parking lot, the BMI offers an unrivaled backdrop for your wedding.

The Baltimore Museum of Industry was the perfect venue for our wedding on September 29, 2024. From the beginning, the events team was incredibly responsive, attentive, and professional. They had a wonderful can-do attitude and were extremely flexible in accommodating all of our requests, from allowing us to drop off items early the Friday before to letting us come in for the busy Saturday rehearsal. The historic, beautiful, and energizing waterfront location was quintessentially Baltimore and truly made our special day feel unique and memorable. We are so grateful to the BMI events team for all their tireless efforts to make our wedding the best day of our lives. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married in the Baltimore area.

Artemis Venues provides three beautiful spaces located in South Central Pennsylvania. The Barn is our secluded outdoor venue located on 17 acres of pristine land overlooking The Susquehanna River! Terrapin Station (our newest venue) is recently remodeled from an old tobacco factory build in 1910. It has a rustic, industrial feel and is the perfect place to dance under the twinkling lights. Artemis features a historical ballroom with stadium seating and one of a kind light fixtures. We also have a new outdoor space called The Courtyard coming to Artemis and Terrapin Station this year, giving your rental indoor/outdoor capabilities. There is something for everyone at Artemis Venues! Our goal is to create an experience for you that is unique as your love.

I love The Barn at Blackstone National! Their outdoor pavillion is a gorgeous setting for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hours, rain or shine! This pavillion overlooks beautiful greenery, and in the autumn months the foliage creates a gorgeous backdrop. The outdoor fire pits make it even cozier at night time. Their indoor reception area is a beautifully built barn with delicious food & a spacious dance floor. Their event coordinator & wait staff are always a pleasure to work with. Mess Hall is a modern wedding venue located in the heart of Washington, D.C. The only private event space in DC that looks into an open industrial kitchen, Mess Hall provides an urban and inviting atmosphere that your guests won’t soon forget. The polished concrete floors, exposed industrial ceilings and mid-century modern décor all make this venue the unique and versatile space you’ve been searching for. Having hosted events for countless local clients, such as DC Brau, The Smithsonian Institution, The Embassy of Japan and more, Mess Hall has the experience and reputation needed to host the celebration of a lifetime. For a true urban wedding experience in the middle of one of America’s most well-known cities, look no further than Mess Hall!

I can't recommend Mess Hall enough as a wedding venue! As soon as we reached out, Al was incredibly responsive and helpful. He made the planning process much smoother by always being available to answer questions and give suggestions. His professionalism and attention to detail ensured that everything went off without a hitch. Additionally, because it is also a food incubator, he was able to make excellent suggestions for catering. The venue itself is a gem—unique, versatile, and full of character. The space allowed us to get creative, and we were given carte blanche to design a wedding that truly reflected our vision. We couldn't have been happier with how it all came together.

===> PLEASE NOTE: We require a professional event planner and catering --- no exceptions. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Skyline 609's flexible raw space is perfect for your next cocktail party, seated dinner, wedding, shower or other special event. Our indoor space accommodates 12-80 seated and 100 standing for cocktail events. The outdoor roof deck accommodates up to 150 for cocktail events, for a total guest count of 250 standing. Your guests will be wowed by clear, unparalleled views of Capitol Hill, and both spaces can be combined by opening our two 25’ power-assisted garage doors. Josephine Butler Parks Center

5.0

Washington, DC
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,900

Overlooking Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park, the Italian Renaissance Revival former embassy is now a vibrant community space for events of all kinds. Whether you are planning a small, intimate staff retreat in the marble-columned porte-cochere, or a large gathering in our spacious grand ballroom, the historic Josephine Butler Parks Center will set a stunning scene for your celebration.

We had the most beautiful wedding here in September. The center was perfect for our ceremony and reception, where we had 90 guests. From first providing a tour of the venue to answering random questions in the months after, Katrina and Ashleigh were extremely helpful and we appreciated their flexibility. The venue provides chairs and tables, which was very helpful planning-wise. One note: There are a lot of stairs and there is no elevator, so this may not be the space for you if you need more accessibility. We received many compliments about the inherent beauty of the space, and we loved that it had separate spaces. On the first floor, we had a board game room, bar and photo booth room setup, as well as our guest book. On the second floor, we had another bar on the terrace, the food room for a dinner buffet and dessert afterward, and the main ceremony/reception ballroom. If we had to do it again, we'd do it at Josephine Butler in a heartbeat.

As a wedding planner, I get the opportunity to work in many venues in Washington, D.C. But there's something truly special about one of D.C.'s newest hotels, Viceroy Washington DC. From the moment I first stepped through the hotel's front doors, I was impressed with the hotel's luxe, stylish and modern details that celebrate local artists and musicians. The photo ops are truly endless! But above all, what's most memorable about Viceroy Washington DC are the people. The events and food and beverage team go above and beyond to ensure that your event will be a success. We navigated numerous challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Kate and the entire team made what could've been an incredibly stressful process, so easy! Due to local guidelines, we needed to move our indoor event outdoors. With Kate's help, we were able to seamlessly pivot to a beautiful event on the hotel's outdoor heated patio. The food and beverage program is outstanding and safety is considered every step of the way. Can't recommend Viceroy Washington DC highly enough!
