“Ashley was an amazing day of coordinator for my husband and I's small-ish (45 pp) wedding that still had a silly number of little details to tend to. From our planning call to the days leading up to the wedding to the day of, Ashley was on top all of the things (including the small details we would have forgotten that would have blown up in our faces day of!) in a way that was just right - nudging us to get things done and also giving us feedback and ideas about what might work/etc. since we are not wedding professionals. ;) She had the East Coast Energy that I craved combined with the NOLA local experience that we needed in planning a wedding in New Orleans while being from and living in NYC. “Brooke once told me during one of our many consultations, that the name of her business was “practically perfect” because nothing is ever 100% perfect, but her goal is to get it as close as possible. I didn’t realize how right she would be. First off the vendors she chose- the catering, the dj, the hair and makeup artist, the bartender, the florist… every single one of these vendors came through in a big way for me! They all knocked it out of the park, and that’s mostly because of Brooke! She knew what she was doing when she chose them, and she handled pretty much all of the communication. I just had to give approval and tell them exactly what I wanted, and Brooke made sure that happened. You just have to trust that you chose her for a reason and that she is going to make the right decisions. Every single thing about my day exceeded my expectations. Now let’s talk about her professionalism. I had someone at my wedding be… not so nice to her. Not Brooke’s fault. She handled it with grace and professionalism both during and after the situation, and made sure it caused as little of a hiccup as possible during my day. “I went with Prestige Planning for my wedding planner because of the ease of use. I met with my certified wedding planner before I booked and she was amazing and explained the whole process. I knew I could plan my own wedding but I’m not a pro at all so I knew I would need a lot of help. I especially liked the SOS calls they give because I needed them to assist with a vendor I was having an issue with. “I was truly in awe of how my event turned out. Donna of DBC Eventz INC. did an amazing job bringing the vision to life. Donna went above and beyond finding intricate items that went with the theme and thought outside the box with the decorations. The entire space was decorated beautifully from top to bottom. Donna understood the assignment and took it to the next level. Donna included me and kept me up to date on where she was with the status of my party. Donna even assisted me with finding the right person to make a cake, DJ the event and take pictures and videos at the event. I was able to have an entrance area, seat all my guest comfortably, have a dance floor, a bar and a separate food area. I will definitely be using DBC Eventz Inc. for my future events.”
