The SoWa Power Station is a masterpiece of late-industrial glamor. Built in 1891 as the world’s largest power generating plant, it produced enough electricity to run the West End Street Railway. The century-old property’s structural elements have since been rescued and restored, transforming it into a blank canvas for community, celebration, and innovation. Welcome to the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter, a truly unique Boston location for a spectacular celebration! Common events become extraordinary events when produced in our uncommon setting. South facing windows provide excellent natural lighting while an 18-foot ceiling enhances the versatile ambiance of the gallery. A 48 foot moveable wall can open to expand the event space into our 3,200 square foot Art Gallery. Floor to ceiling “garage-style” glass door opens onto an adjoining courtyard. Even the bathrooms have surprise design elements.
