Artists For Humanity Epicenter

5.0

Boston, MA
  • Up to 350 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor

Welcome to the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter, a truly unique Boston location for a spectacular celebration! Common events become extraordinary events when produced in our uncommon setting. South facing windows provide excellent natural lighting while an 18-foot ceiling enhances the versatile ambiance of the gallery. A 48 foot moveable wall can open to expand the event space into our 3,200 square foot Art Gallery. Floor to ceiling “garage-style” glass door opens onto an adjoining courtyard. Even the bathrooms have surprise design elements.

We live in Boston and wanted a local venue that showed off the best of Boston. AFH is an amazing non-profit gallery that works with local teenagers to create art. LARGE, industrial space with concrete floors and a large garage door with a private courtyard/patio. The venue is in South Boston, blocks away from the Broadway T station with a nearby parking garage. Easy mass transit and driving location right off of 93 and 90.

We recently had the immense pleasure of working with Meaghan, an outstanding special events manager who helped us organize our post-elopement party at the House of Blues. The experience was nothing short of magical, and we owe it all to her. From the very first meeting to the final note of music, Meaghan was the driving force behind an unforgettable evening. She listened to our goals for the event (a very non-traditional party), made suggestions to ensure our wishes were fulfilled. She brought our vision to life in a way that exceeded all our expectations. One of the most remarkable aspects of our collaboration with Meaghan was her impeccable attention to detail. She was beyond organized and handled every facet of the event with precision and care, from arranging the perfect decor to coordinating with our band and vendors as well as the House of Blues team members seamlessly. Our guests were not just impressed; they were blown away by the entire evening. The atmosphere was electric, and Meaghan played a pivotal role in creating a night filled with music, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. From the lighting and sound, table arrangements, and the delectable catering options, every element of our party was flawlessly executed. What truly sets Meaghan and the entire team at House of Blues apart is their ability to understand their clients' vision and turn it into reality. Making such a complex event feel effortless is no small feat. Meaghan's dedication and passion for her work were evident throughout the planning process, and she always made us feel like we were her top priority. We cannot express how thrilled we are with how everything turned out. Thanks to Meaghan, our post-elopement party at the House of Blues was an absolute dream come true. The memories created that night will be treasured for years to come. If you're looking for an amazing venue and awesome experience for your special event, with people who can transform your vision into a remarkable reality, we wholeheartedly recommend Meaghan and the team at the House of Blues. Thank you for making our post-elopement party a night to remember! D & A

1620 Winery

Plymouth, MA
  • Up to 200 guests

Welcome. Sydalyn Hill is a new, exclusive family-run farm and venue that hosts a limited number of weddings a year between May and September. Perched on a sunny hilltop off Highway 9 across from the Garden of Eden and surrounded by Henry Cowell State Park, this hidden treasure has an expansive view of the San Lorenzo Valley, providing a magical backdrop of rustic elegance for your special day! There are 20 acres with 2 orchards, gardens, trails, and a large open meadow to explore. Guests can even take a walk back in time, stepping inside the original cabin built in 1908. We provide many of the necessities as well as a large collection of rustic and elegant decor items, saving you time and reducing stress, allowing you to simply enjoy your day!

After we toured 1620 Winery at Cordage Park, we immediately got in the car and said to each other that we should book it for our July 2023 Wedding. We have zero regrets! It was so beautiful and unique as a venue. We loved the convenience of everything being in one place- and so did our guests! We also loved that although it is primarily an inside venue (with air conditioning for a summer wedding!), there is a large outside deck for guests to enjoy. Logistics and planning were a dream. They are incredibly organized and prepared for anything. Jenn, the coordinator, clearly knows how to run a fantastic wedding and if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we have no idea! The wine was delicious and a fun talking point for guests. The food was hands down some of the best food we’ve had at a wedding (we loved going to the tasting ahead of time, too!) - our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how unique and fun the venue was. We love, love, loved getting married there and would suggest it to ANYONE looking to book with them. We are so happy with our decision to choose 1620 Winery at Cordage Park.

We’re a destination for travelers and locals, a neighborhood focal point, space where all kinds of people come together. In addition to our event space, we have five guest rooms full of considered design details, though that’s just one small part of what we do. This is a new kind of hospitality, one that puts our community first. We’re your guides to getting lost in Olneyville’s underground art scene, and we’re your homebase when you’re ready to relax in singular style.

Just a Girl Events had the pleasure of working here for a small wedding. The venue is amazing! With 3 onsite areas that would be considered suites it is perfect to host your wedding party from the evening before to the day after. The studio space itself is beautiful with gabled ceilings and a beautiful floor with a brick inlay that is of the original design. The outdoor spacing can host a small area for cocktails with great ambiance or just a courtyard to hang out. The staff is great and it really is a hidden gem but one that creates an experience not just a night Charlene DeLuca

As a wedding planner, I have the opportunity to work with a lot of wedding venues throughout the area and my experience at The Armory was nothing other than perfect. The team was responsive to all vendors, including a demanding (and rude at times) caterer, and offered a lot of flexibility to my clients about how they wanted the room set up, and how they wanted the timeline to flow - it truly felt as though we were being welcomed into their space and guided through the process vs. some other spaces we've worked with that felt restrictive and controlling. Overall, if you're looking for a creative space that you can transform to whatever you want it to be, this is the space for you.

Olio: Modern / Industrial Event Space

This historic space has been outfitted with every modern amenity to be the ideal space to host the perfect wedding. We provide a non-traditional venue so that our clients have a blank slate to start from and can make the space their own. Without any décor, the soaring ceilings and cement walls feel "industrial chic" but clients can transform the space with glitz and glam, rustic touches, romantic lighting, modern lines, whimsical details, and vintage furniture. If you can dream it, it can be done at Olio. Located just North of Boston, Massachusetts, in the heart of New England, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions. Olio welcomes all and actively seeks out LGBTQIA+ identifying clients. Pricing and lots more information, including FAQs and tips/tricks are on Olio's website and social media accounts. Olio was the first (and only) wedding venue we toured. Immediately following our tour, my partner and I cancelled all tours/meetings with other venues - we knew that if we were going to have a wedding, it had to be at Olio. Sarah and the Olio team ALWAYS met us with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. All communications with Olio were authentic, seamless, and enjoyable. Since our family lives all over the country, Sarah and the team went out of their way to accommodate and ensure each of our family members could tour Olio when they were in town. Our wedding exceeded any and all expectations. It is impossible to articulate the beauty of this venue. All of our friends and family continue to rave about the space, story behind Olio, and the wonderful venue team. Olio is incredible without any decorations, but can be a blank canvas for people with big ideas. There is East End Peabody Veterans Memorial Park down the road that is perfect for photos, and a Granite Coast Brewing Company a few doors down for an afterparty. Olio and their team will make you feel supported, and with their authenticity comes a critical level of mutual trust. Thank you Olio for being the best venue, and team, we could have ever asked for!

Hope Lodge Venue

4.9

Moosup, CT
  • Up to 170 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,500

Located in Moosup, Connecticut, Hope Lodge Venue is a unique event space. Perfect for celebrations, it has 2 floors of 5000 square feet of beautifully renovated space in a building bursting with historic charm. On the top floor, couples will encounter a wood ceiling, barn doors, gold chandelier and a huge stage. Combined, these elements can create an atmosphere like no other. On the lower level, couples will find an industrial but chic rustic space with large windows, full bar and bridal suite.

I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.
