For larger occasions, the Grand Ballroom seats up to 450 guests for dinner and features an original, hand-crafted ceiling reminiscent of a ship’s hull. For a grand, yet intimate, atmosphere, Palm Garden’s soaring atrium-style wedding venue is ideal for a ceremony up to 200 guests.

Johnson Wedding 6/8
We absolutely loved having our wedding reception at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf! The Harbor View Ballroom provided a stunning backdrop for our special day. Olga and Michaela were so organized and flexible when it came to planning and executing our vision. On the day-of, they made sure everything flowed smoothly so my wife and I could simply relax and soak in all the special moments with our guests. The ballroom and outdoor terrace offered unbelievable photo ops with the Boston skyline in the background. Olga, Michaela, and the entire Long Wharf staff went above and beyond with their exceptional service, attention to detail, and dedication to making our wedding day truly unforgettable and stress-free for us as a couple. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for other couples planning their big day!
Fairytale Experience
We had our wedding at the Marriott Long Wharf October 7 2023 and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Meg Garruto is a true gem and was a dream to work with! We were actually booked at another venue and after some issues we decided we needed to find another venue and actually booked Long Wharf site unseen. Our original venue not working our was the biggest blessing in disguise. The attention to details and the accessibility to answer any questions we had was above and beyond. There was absolutely no stress in wedding planning thanks to Meg and her team. We also were so impressed with the food! From the cocktail hour to late night snacks everything was perfect. Our guests have been raving about the service and the food for the past week! The location of the hotel and the views are worth booking for alone. If you are looking to book a Boston area hotel for your wedding I would seriously consider booking long wharf before it’s too late! We are already looking into visiting for our one year anniversary (and we are not locals!) because we love the hotel so much!

The Boston Marriott Long wharf is one of those iconic hotels that overlook the water with striking views. The staff there as well knowledgeable and the Catering team is second to none! All of the weddings we have done there have been over the top Amazing!
