I knew with my busy work schedule it would be difficult to plan a wedding all by myself and that wedding planners are expensive. Baker's Ranch provides an all inclusive experience from start to finish with their lovely staff and made it so easy. The venue itself if beautiful and has a lot of variety and photo backdrop magic. They were very communicative and professional throughout the whole process. You can have design sessions and they can bring whatever vision you have for your special day to life. I have had the pleasure of being the Wedding Planner for some of the more recent weddings here at Scars Farm. The venue is so beautiful and like no other! The Glass barn details are just gorgeous, and the many different ceremony options are a wonderful option for couples. The Bridal Suite and Groom suite are great in size and they have a nice multi-stall bathroom for guests to use. Working with the Owner Michael has been wonderful. He is so kind, compassionate, and always willing to help in any way he can to make the couple and vendors happy. If you are looking for a Modern Barn Venue, I would highly recommend Scars Farm!

My son & now daughter-in-law had their wedding here 9.14.24. It was absolutely a beautiful setting! Mike is organized and had multiple conversations with us through the entire process. It was so nice that the wedding party could stay with the Bride & Groom on site. They have thought of all the details to stock the resort with everything we might have needed. Mike & Karen were going out of the country on the day of my son’s wedding but left us in good hands with their assistants Skye & Aaron. Everything went great! This is such a beautiful setting from the long entry way to the sunset on the water.

Powel Crosley built the Florida winter home for his wife, Gwendolyn, in 1929. The two-and-a-half-story Mediterranean mansion was built in the southwest corner of Bradenton on a 60-acre parcel of land on Sarasota Bay adjacent to the John Ringling Estate. The 11,000-square-foot home has 21 rooms and 10 baths, and an adjacent carriage house has room for three cars and servants' quarters on the second floor. Originally the mansion had a swimming pool, a seaplane dock and yacht basin. The home featured many innovations for its time, including a steel frame encased in cast stone, embedded pipes and wiring, and a 135-day construction schedule. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, Seagate was saved from commercial development and purchased for renovation by Manatee County, which operates it as a meeting, conference and event venue.

I really am speechless when it comes to the Powel Crosley. I am so incredibly thankful we hosted our destination wedding here with them. I wish I wouldve taken more time on my special day to really marvel at all of the estate. There is so much beauty every which way you turn! The staff was so helpful from the moment we booked with them and on the wedding day. Looking back at our photos, I know this was worth every single penny. I can't say enough amazing things about Isla Del Sol YCC. I was looking for a private beach venue but what we found was so much more. Not only is the ceremony location perfect, with a private marina beach, a gazebo alter and paved walkway, but we also chose to add on a post-ceremony private sailboat ride. This unique experience gave my husband and I the opportunity to soak in the moment just the two of us, and provided the most stunning backdrop for photos. The reception space is equally perfect with 180degree views of the bay and enough room for two bars, a buffet (if you choose buffet style dinner) and dance floor large enough for your entire party to dance the night away. In addition to the location itself, IDSYCC's staff is unmatched. Melissa, the events director, was part of the reason we were so drawn to this venue. She is a master in her field. Melissa is insanely knowledgeable about all things wedding and was there every step of the way to answer all of our questions and provide support. The caring and professional nature we experienced with Melissa didn't stop there. Every single staff member from the servers, to the bartenders, and even the security guards took the best care of us on our special day. Its really amazing IDSYCC isn't just a wedding venue because they have perfected the art of creating the most amazing wedding. Oh and the food is delicious!! Book this venue...it'll be the best choice you make :)

This is the newest boutique hotel in St. Pete Beach, we pride ourselves on our stunning rooftop views, exceptional food, and attention to detail. We have a beautiful rooftop event space overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and unique settings that will cater to the most intimate of celebrations.

Overall, the planning process was easy, and the team was very communicative. There were a few hiccups with booking our room block (related to the quoted rate and the site not letting guests book longer than the weekend nights), but once that was resolved most everything else was smooth sailing. The venue is stunning - our guests enjoyed the rooms and food. And even though we had to make the last minute call to move our welcome reception indoors due to the weather, the Zamora team made it happen and it ended up being great! The only things I would improve was that there was not enough shade for our morning rooftop wedding and there were issues with the audio. We knew having an August wedding in Florida would be hot, but there needs to be more shade options on the rooftop - it is such a beautiful venue and makes for stunning photos, but we were all miserably hot! The issues with audio were due to the AV guy not knowing how to hook my laptop with all my playlists up to the sound system. Frustrating but my day of coordinator stepped in and did the best she could to salvage it.

The Spanish word for sunrise, “alba” is a historic nod to the rise of Tampa’s cigar industry in the late nineteenth century, a transformative shift that ushered in the cultural diversity and economic prosperity that continues to define Tampa today.

Hotel Alba hosted my wedding reception on 10/10/20 and we had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and has a very unique design and feel. It was a great taste of Tampa for our friends and family who were visiting from out of town. Even better than the hotel itself were the office and event staff. Everyone we interacted with, from the GM to the bartenders, were helpful and accommodating. I cannot say enough nice things about the event manager, Kristina. I hired a day-of coordinator from an outside company and had a very bad experience, but Kristina went above an beyond to handle everything we needed. Kristina helped us manage reception items (gifts, party favors, signage, etc.), coordinated with vendors, and even handled some last minute meal changes we had from some of our guests. Finally, the food and food service were excellent. A few months before the wedding, the event staff coordinated a tasting with the chef for my husband and I. Chef prepared a delicious tasting and helped us make our final food and wine choices. At the reception, we received endless compliments from our guests on the filet and mahi mahi. If I was to start over right now and plan another wedding, I would go right back to Hotel Alba.

From the moment we started working with the Marriott, we have had the best experience. We worked with Jenna, the sales manager, a lot and she was also so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I honestly was not stressed the week of the wedding because I felt like she was so helpful and trusted her to make sure all of my requests were met. She even came to our welcome reception to greet our guests and hand them drink tickets. A few weeks before the wedding, we met Dan, the banquet coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic and so helpful in helping us envision our room set up. He stayed the day before our wedding to set up the room early and it was flawless. He stood at the door of our reception when guests arrived to help direct them to their seats. His hard work and dedication to what he does was truly evident. I feel that Jenna and Dan truly went above and beyond to ensure we had our dream wedding. Joanna was also very helpful with our wedding room block as she is very responsive and quickly assisted with anyone hotel room needs for either my guests or myself. All of the hotel staff including front desk, valet, bartenders, servers etc were also amazing throughout our stay. We got SO many compliments from our guests about how welcoming, friendly, and helpful all the Marriott staff was. Even the maids were amazing and so warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived at the Marriott for our wedding weekend, we were greeted by Wilmer, who was beyond helpful is unloading our car and transferring multiple items into our hotel room and he was present throughout the weekend to assist us with any other needs we had. Also, Rick and Ricardo were amazing bartenders, super friends, accommodating and truly helped to make our wedding into a full weekend event full of fun and everlasting memories. All in all I could not have asked for a better weekend with the support of the Marriott!! I would recommend this group to anyone and hope to be back to visit again soon!
