Venue 650 is a historic wedding venue located in Winter Haven, Florida that was originally home to The Florida Chief newspaper, dating back to 1911. While it boasts plenty of charm, the venue also boasts the convenience of being near the big cities of Tampa and Orlando and all the activities and entertainment they have to offer. You and your wedding party will truly find plenty to learn about and do in this space.

Venue 650 is a versatile space in which industrial chic meet with your personal expression and imagination. With our exposed brick walls, flexible design space, tall ceilings and concrete floor exposing the agate, these are just some of the creative and urban choices enabling one to reflect their unique personality. We can accommodate up to 400 guests comfortably enabling plenty of space for dancing, buffet and in general allowing our guests to be creative with their vision.

The Garden is maybe one of our most versatile locations on the property. The old world atmosphere with its exposed steel beams, soft lighting and open air, is ideal for a wedding, reception, cocktails and simply as stunning as the creator would imagine.

The Lounge

The Lounge with its large windows and doors overlooks the outside Garden. The Lounge is cozy and inviting giving the feeling of depth and open atmosphere. The Lounge area enables the Host to use imagination and style showing versatility, creating a rich experience for their guests.

Living in a rural area - we wanted a place that gave off elegant vibes with a intimate feel. Venue 650 provided just that. The process was made easy with open and transparent communication. Becky and team were patient with my husband and I. They provided wonderful advice and help make decisions that were otherwise difficult to make. I wish the night had not ended. The intimacy of an outdoor ceremony gave us an opportunity to share this moment with our family and friends. The grandness of the reception area allowed for a cocktail area, hangout area for teens and a beautiful area for dinner and dancing. It was a perfect wedding.

Yes, we require a licensed and insured bartending service serve all alcohol to guests.

We do not have a peak season.

We do not have a off-peak season.

Yes, we have self parking.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Your reservation starts at 9am and ends by 11pm this needs to include the time it takes your vendors to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $500 per hour plus sales tax.

Yes, we require special event liability insurance.
