Sweet Freedom Farm is an 18 acre mountain sanctuary where both people and animals come to experience the peace and beauty in our little slice of heaven. We are nestled up to Golden Gate Canyon Park and have the best of both worlds, with mountain views, flat pasture, and beautiful forest. We're located on a historic stagecoach stop, so there's the feeling of old west history. All of the animals on site are rescues, and we often get wildlife walking through as well. If you want the true Colorado beauty that is only 10 minutes from lodging in Black Hawk, and 25 minutes from Golden, Sweet Freedom Farm is meant for you! Sweet Freedom Farm offers Ceremony Only packages at this time. We have great partnerships with a few local reception venues, allowing you to have the best of both worlds. We are perfect for couples that love the outdoors, love animals, want a beautiful nature filled ceremony with incredible mountain views.

“Trying to plan a wedding on your own is not for the weak of heart, booking Hummingbird Hill was the absolute easiest decision we had to make. Noah and Serena made our stay and weekend the absolute best. We had been in communication with them for almost 10 months, planning and discussing every detail. They offered photography, shuttle service options, greeted us with a bouquet of flowers, hung twinkle lights over our ceremony area, allowed us to stop at the home for measurements, even stayed for our wedding and helped with tear down and cleaning. When we booked their home we didn’t expect such involvement and love and support they offered. I could not recommend hummingbird hill enough. We are already planning on coming back with friends for our 1 year anniversary.”
